Hey guys,
Not a lease-specific question, but wondering where folks go to find current best pricing on new cars (I used to use truecar) to gauge potential discount targets. I’m in NY, but it doesn’t need to be region-specific.
Thanks a bunch!

I go to leasehackr.com and reference broker listings and shared deals
I found the Signed Deals section here and Reddit to be the best places in my last search. On Reddit I’d search “[Car name] price paid” and tons of comments would come up.
The answer depends on whether you’re leasing or buying.
Leasing: Two competing cars, one could have a better payment at 8% discount over another at 16%.
Buying: some companies love to inflate the MSRP and fool customers into thinking their discounts are amazing. Those often have the highest depreciation.
Edmunds will suggest fairly reasonable prices and generally will have incentives listed as well
Who was that genius that clicked on LH link while on LH?

Still time to delete this before they all blacklist you ![]()
This is one of those threads that has the potential to be full of legendary LHer awesomeness and shenanigans.
To answer your question seriously, this is how I find the best car prices.
OP asked for where to find new car prices and we so far have:
Stage 2 B58 mods
Witches
Lowballing broker fees
Well on our way already!
my fee is hirer but please don’t negotiate it ![]()
3 edits and it still sounds like gibberish. I think u might need more help than a broker can provide.
This is either an epic anti-ai post, a pretty good troll, someone in need of about 2 days worth of sleep, or someone very earnest but not the sharpest. It might be some combination, idk, but I enjoyed reading it.
Good calls
I’m considering both. I’m currently leasing and that lease is ending in February. I’m looking at LH and brokers for leases, but also looking at a couple of Subarus, which tend to not make for great leases, so I’d consider purchasing and keeping longer term.
Specifically, the Outback Wilderness and WRX (the latter for what I think is rare value), so I was hoping for some way of gauging how much of a discount I might, realistically, shoot for.
I must’ve missed the B58 Stage 2 mods, but this has become an unintentionally amusing thread. Loved that engine in my old M340!
I think you missed the boat on the good lease deals with the 25s. Subaru FS (Chase) had some aggressive MF and incentives. You may also want to look into being a ASPCA member for an additional discount. Subaru VIP Signature Program | ASPCA
That being said Marketplace does show some Subaru dealers and you can gauge where you need to be.
