Can I tint lease car windows?

First time leasing here, can I tint leased Mercedez? Do I need to remove it before the return? thanks!

Things that add value to the car, if done professionally, are unlikely to be counted against the value of the car. I had my car’s windows tinted and it had no effect on my lease end inspection. BTW, most car companies hire a third party agent to come and do the lease inspection and they are mainly looking for things that decrease the value of the car or make it less attractive to a potential buyer.

There may be many reasons for that. Dealer decided to keep the car and did not mind tinted windows, you got new car from them, etc. But one may as well be required to remove it.

That’s right you don’t need to remove it. Just make sure you get it professionally done, not a hack job from your cousin who watched a YouTube video on how to tint windows.
