Cadillac Vistiq Deal Check - Demo Incentives?

Better than EQS?

Very sexy! Congrats! Going to DM you about the red one though my wife really likes blue and insists on a light interior.

Another loaner deal I seem to be making more progress on (different dealer). Curious for everyone’s thoughts especially if I can get them to drop the dealer adds.

Payment isn’t good as eqs but it’s better drive

Sewell Cadillac?

Hah is their quote sheet that obvious? They all use the same one. Legendary service in these parts (I’d love to have one) but I’m learning that comes at a price.

Updated deal from a sister dealership. Curious to get the thoughts of the group. The negotiation was a smidge too easy but it’s the cheapest I’ve been offered so far.

Not the buy rate money factor but the manager gave me a point and kept one point for themselves without too much hassle. I might be able to squeeze the deal a bit more but it is my preferred dealer with great post-sales service which can justify a slight premium in my book.

EDIT: Trade is currently being valued but may be able to cut out the remaining tax.

I know the below is different state and maybe some different rebates but those two quotes are so different

Yeah I played with that deal to see how it would stack up in Texas; not as far off as it would seem at first glance since Texas screws you on the taxes (paid on the entire car value) and I only get $3250 in incentives versus that poster’s $4750. Buy rate money factor is also different at 0.00297917 for GA and 0.00322917 in TX (and my quotes have been marked up from that).

If change the money factor to the TX buy rate and drop the disposition fee (which wasn’t in that poster’s calculator but maybe that’s an oversight), I get a one-pay value for that deal of $17228 in GA versus $21813 with the Texas variables (for their more expensive car). Using my latest negotiated sales price of $71,197 that equates to a one-pay of $18,664 assuming I could get the buy rate.

Maybe I shouldn’t be comparing these deals that way but comparing one-pays seems to be the most intuitive to me.

I’m half inclined to offer a one-pay of $20,000 or $22,000 for 24 months and see if they bite.

I’ve caused a fuss talking to multiple dealers in the same family and I gather my local dealer noticed I was about to go out of town since all of a sudden everyone in my city is calling me this morning.

Would love any additional feedback since I am new to the lease negotiation world. Thanks in advance!

Are you asking for quotes or making offers?

I initially asked for quotes just to see if the advertised discounts were real and to gauge whether the price could drop to a place where it was even worth working the deal further. But now I’m in a position to make offers and intend to do that going forward. I’m just having trouble telling what is a competitive offer in Texas with the high taxes that make a deal much different than what you see signed here (or all the deals are old from when the tax credit was available).

Would love feedback on what a competitive offer would be in Texas.

I’ve historically had good luck negotiating/getting good deals from them in the past. Given not on a Cadillac, but with Infiniti, Lexus, and BMW

Really all you can compare with deals from other states is the dealer discount. All other variables may be different from state to state. And even dealer discount comparisons can be tricky due to supply/demand in your area vs where you see an out of state posted deal.

Lots of moving parts unfortunately.

Like @valek.jw said you can use discount data points from other states just adjust to your taxes and rebates. Seems like you are putting in the work and learning which is great.

Definitely make offers or else they stay anchored to their quoted price. “We already came down $50!”

Here’s my offer, if you accept ill be there in an hour.
