Does anyone have the complete program details for Cadillac demo incentives?
Specifically these two listed in RateFindr:
$2000 CADILLAC COURTESY TRANSPORTATION ALTERNATIVE (CTA) SHORT TERM IN SERVICE PROGRAM
$1000CADILLAC RETIRED CTA CCR PROGRAM
My local dealer is telling me that these incentives only apply to vehicles pulled from the demo pool before 2/19, which isn’t specified in RateFindr. They have a demo currently in their loaner pool that could come out, but it seems odd that it wouldn’t qualify for these incentives just because it hasn’t left the pool yet.
Likely something to do with a “retired” status. You’ll likely need someone from a GM dealer or with more intimate experience to know why a unit isn’t eligible. At the end of the day, the dealer doesn’t have a good reason to shield you from these if they’re a blocker to the deal closing.
Yeah I don’t know if it’s a Texas thing or what but I’ve reached out to many dealers and they only want to quote the price after incentives without including any of the retired vehicle ones I see here.
I just thought it was weird there would be a time limit on when a vehicle had to be retired to be eligible. The one I was looking at wasn’t retired yet but they could do it for me.
Overall I’m struggling to find a deal on a Vistiq even though it seems like every dealer and their dog has numerous demos. Anyone have any tips?
Based on previous deals posted here I think GM is weird/convoluted on how they allow these demo incentives. I think there are lots of “strings attached.” So, the dealer isn’t necessarily pulling a fast one on you.
Curious if anyone is getting less than MSRP for non-demo Vistiqs. They are making it out like there’s no room at all even when they’re getting over invoice and holdbacks, floor plan credits, etc (though I don’t know exactly how GM works relative to others).
Maybe I should just cut a deal on a demo and not worry about why there are so many out there for sale with massive discounts.
I’m in negotiations with a local dealer for one of two 2026 Vistiqs. One is new with 100 miles, the other is a demo with almost 5k miles. The dealer says these are about as low as they can go, although I’m waiting on a counteroffer since it seems like every dealer in the state will discount demos $6-10k.
Ignore how they’ve applied my trade; I’ve had it priced as if they just pay me my equity as cash so I can compare deals more easily.
Deals include $2k conquest and $1250 Costco. As of this morning I am seeing an additional $1000 lease cash allowance which wasn’t available when I got these offers, but I’m unclear if it applies to all dealers. I was able to negotiate dealer adds down to what is supposedly their cost. The taxes seem too low to me too given Texas taxing on the whole vehicle price.
Not great. You need to get those add ons removed, a bigger discount, and have them use your trade to offset the TX sales tax. I had a 12k one-pay offer on an 86k vistiq non-demo from out of state, so you should be able to get much lower.
Thanks! That sounds like an awesome deal! Was that offer recent (post-tax credit expiration)? If you have a referral for that dealer please DM! I wouldn’t mind shipping a car but there aren’t a ton of Cadillac brokers on this forum.
There are 50% tax credits, but this person has a trade. They can apply that trade equity to the deal to get rid of at least half the remaining sales tax. Not saying they put money down, but if they construct the deal right, he can push sales tax down further.
Assuming the dealer is offering a fair trade value. OP needs to compare dealer’s trade value to what they can get from other sources then do the math to see what makes more sense. Trade in with the dealer or sell to another party and take the partial sales tax credit on the new car.
how does one get GM supplier? I feel like this is a stupid question, but i see people throw it around as if its attainable easily (even if you’re not officially a GM supplier), so please forgive me.
This is intriguing. Do you have choice of color? Looking for Opulent Blue/Sheer Gray. I have Costco Executive and Conquest, no leads on supplier but will look around since it seems like people might give them out (or if you have one that’s sharable)?
The 25k trade value you see here was negotiated up from 23k, but I took it to Carmax yesterday and was offered 29k so unless the dealer comes up to 27.5k or so I would be better off excluding the trade from the deal (by my rough math which could be wrong).
