CA - Looking for car recommendations that come with Carpool sticker and are 'fun' to drive

Hey Guys
My current 530e lease is expiring in a few months. Looking for car recommendations for CA that come with carpool sticker and can be ‘fun’ to drive.

Obviously the word ‘fun’ can mean a lot to different people. Im more interested in handling and driving around corners and less being fast in a straight line.

For budget, I’d like to stay around $600/m.
Tempted to look at Mach-E GT but I don’t see that happening under my budget.
Not interested in looking at a Tesla.

Would love to hear thoughts from the community.

Bmw i8 looks like lots of fun but $600 no way haha

Polestar fart car?

Thought you had to be below a certain income now to qualify for the sticker?

If only that was possible

Over $300K you have to pick between rebates and stickers and you can’t pick rebates

Amazon leasing? Or the other third exotic parties like manhattan, premier financial, etc.

Get a 330e and pocket the rest of the money - drives very different than other Beemers but is one of the best freeway cruisers out there, you could be cruising at 100mph and not realize it, it’s that smooth for real!

Damn didn’t realize that

Right there with you @boozinix, my 530e lease is up in April. Considering the X5 45e. I have a Lightning reserved but don’t think that will happen unfortunately. Hoping for something over 6000 GVWR.

Add me to the list of Californians coming off an amazing 530e lease deal from 2019. Mines up end of April as well. Been looking around and so far the X5 45e and the 740 electric version are on my list. The 7 series has some better incentives, especially when added with the bimmer club rebate

Im tempted towards the X45e as well but I don’t think in the current market conditions, I am gonna be able to fit in my budget atleast.

So you’re going to blow through your budget AND get a car that’s not fun to drive.

Which part of that makes any sense?
