haha, not really.
My lease ends in Jul, so I have about 6-7 months. I was gonna start test driving cars in Jan, in case I had to put a deposit down and wait for a car because I do see a some of these newer cars have wait times that stretch for months.
What I was hoping for from this post is to help short list cars. I’d rather not test drive every single car that qualifies for the carpool sticker. If people have insights, would love to hear it. So far, nothing has struck out.
Personally Im ok with going over the budget for the ’ right’ car. But it has to be reasonable but I haven’t quite figured out what I am max willing to pay yet.
Ive had a 330e, good car, fun to drive. switched to a model 3 performance, also fun to drive, has its quirks. If your okay with full electric, the 3 performance offers a good bang for the buck in terms of speed and handling.
Im not sure any of the bigger sedas and SUV/ cross overs would be “fun” to drive, but thats subjective…But if you like outdoor stuff, 20 inch rims with thin tires, means no off the side of the road parking/ice/snow or heavy rain.
it’s a little smaller than the XC40 for sure but it’s sure bigger than my Niro. Since you haven’t TD’d the XC40 yet, walk a bit and try the C40 at the same time. The C40 has a higher towing rating if you need it.
