Brokers in the north/midwest?

Not sure the best way to chat with a broker but it seems like the “marketplace” is ridden with east coast (NY/NJ/PA) and California brokers…

Would love to chat with a broker in the north (I am in Minneapolis) or the midwest as I’d like to make a move relatively soon on an X3 M40 or X3 M - as my vehicle is going through lease assumption & will be gone in about a week. Thanks yall!

I live in Mpls and @Benedetto helped lease an XC60 last summer. Great to work with. I think the 2 BMW dealers in the city don’t budge much, but worth a shot.

Did you go to IU?

Bmw minnetonka and Bloomington are garbage to deal with I’ve found. My sister in law did get a good deal from them a few years back on a 535i though.

Those two vastly outsell ever other BMW dealer in the Midwest, so no real reason to blow out cars if they don’t have to.

Same story with one of the older dealers in DFW as well. They have a older but very loyal following that doesn’t shop the deal as much as they do the car.

I sure did!! Go hoosiers

I actually have a decent relationship with both managers in Minnetonka / Bloomington that have been more aggressive than usual but still not quite up there!

I did a get a good deal on a 440 loaner last year but man did it take a while for them to budge!

Perhaps a two for one special? I have also tried reaching out to brokers with very little to no response for the same vehicle. Please keep us updated.

Nice, I went to IU too.

I’ll have to reach out to you in the spring when my car is up to see if I can get in contact with someone for an X3!

sounds good, man. the new car sales managers here are great people! otherwise, I’m sure I will be bored with my X3 in a year or 2 so feel free to reach out
what company you working for out here: Target, US Bank, UHG, Cargill, or Best Buy?

Ha I actually moved here from Chicago a couple years ago and kept my job so I’m virtual. It is a healthcare analytics/performance improvement company.

ahh! so close :stuck_out_tongue: (not) good stuff man!!

Same with the Volvo dealers in that area, they outsell anything in our area

sigh. we need to get all customers on leasehackr to understand they’re getting ripped off

If everybody got a good deal nobody would get a great deal.

Every market is different.

The northeast and SoCal easily have 20-30 BMW stores within 2-3 hours of each other, hence they’re more likely to compete with the other stores on price, which is why we see aggressive pricing out of those areas.

Markets like MN and OH have about 2-4 stores statewide, they don’t need to compete.

Chicago is a bit of a hybrid where dealerships don’t really like to work with brokers (they’re not as common here), there are enough stores for okay deals but not enough to get 48% off and base mf on a car, etc

fair points, fam.

All the dealers I have worked with in Chicago don’t like brokers. If the manager wants to sell them a car, it is going to be for sticker.

Hahah if I had a dollar for every-time I’ve been ‘tossed’ out a store I’d be able to buy a Zonda.

But dont tell me tell the other brokers who have been calling dealerships in our area  :joy:

Have you been able to find a decent deal? From the responses, would it be better to have one shipped in?
