Discount is still weak for a loaner so trying to push a bit more.

I’ve been shopping for an X3 in Minnesota as well. The best deal offered (first dealer offer) is 5.5% off new. The Rochester MN dealer and the one in Iowa are more interested in discounting if they know you are out of their local area. Still not great with the initial round of negotiations.
It’s the same thing every time I shop for a lease in Minnesota. Apparently, we accept lower discounts as the norm. It is possible to use a broker in Chicago but as others have mentioned the deals may not be good enough to warrant the additional effort. I’ve seen posts from a broker in Ohio but I am not sure if that is just too far…
