I hate EVs !
Why? Doesnāt make sense to hate something without a reason
Thereās no good EV SUV much less deals for someone like him. 7 adult seat SUV EV that goes from 0-60 in 3.8 means thereās simply no competition. What EV holds the same amount of cargo/passengers, goes as fast, and stops as fast? The only thing that comes close is the EQS 580 SUV and thatās not as good as the X7
How is it not as good as X7?
Not arguing for or against EVs, but the Rivian R1S does all those things. I believe itās faster
I donāt want to fix my daily schedule or a family trip based on how much charge my car can hold and add time to charge it every now and then.
Look at the spec sheet of both cars. What doesnāt the x7 m60i do better? Emissions is the only thing.
Except braking distance (155 vs 177), skidpad (.85g vs .80g), range (500 vs 220), and top speed (which is useless but Iāll put it in anyways lol). At 220 miles at 75 mph means you get only 2 hours and 45 minutes of driving. That means your radius is 100 miles. You canāt travel over 100 miles in a direction without charging!
I donāt have enough info to know whether the numbers are the same or similar. Thereās fuzzy math going on with the trade and the corp discount. But I also donāt need an explanation. Iām just stating that accuracy matters.
This is a site where people come to learn about and share leasing deals so everyone can be better prepared to negotiate with a dealer. If people are stating total discount without explaining how they arrived at that number (dealer discount off MSRP, publicly available rebates, membership based rebates, trade equity, etc.), or they are stating the wrong facts, then this site would be useless. Can you imagine if everyone in the EQS thread simply stated a total discount without explaining the details? It would be a cluster.
I have nothing against the OP. He wanted a car, he got the car he wanted, good for himā¦seriously. But making statements and then immediately contradicting those same statements is not good for the site. āBought it cashā is not the same as financing. ā10% discountā is not the same as 7% discount plus fuzzy math. I merely suggested that he try to be more accurate with his statements.
Lol this thread is hilarious.
You forgot the, āPosting totally erroneous information and thinking that mis-stating the discount by nearly 50% is somehow a rounding error.ā
Im still baffled that I told him to just buy the car with low interest financing from a local East Bay credit union - then the guy tells me Iām salty about some waxed car on delivery.
