Anyone have any recommendations on BMW extended warranty? I bought a 2023 x5 and did not buy an extended warranty at time of purchase. Are there any dealers that offer good pricing? What about 3rd party warranty companies?
DM me. I think I can do one through couple of different warranty companies
We’ve been trying to reach you about your extended warranty, actually.

I am buying my leased X4. The dealer is offering me the extended warranty (which I am going to buy it but shopping around) for 3 years for an additional 30k miles warranty for $2744 (bumper to bumper) and a four year additional 30k miles for $2844. I found other places in the internet which can vary from $150-$200/mo for the same car. Coverage is similar. The BMW one seems to be a fantastic deal, so, wonder if others had a similar experience?
Go to Bimmerfest on the ask a dealer thread and see what they say about warranty. Many there say that usually BMW are ok under 70k miles, maintenance, may catchup on you after 70k. I’ve owned 6 BMW’s and always had good luck with them after 50k miles.
Look into other third parties as well - Fidelity is well known and a better value in many cases.
Also, very easily cancellable for a pro rata refund. Depending on your state UC + may not be cancellable. This is relevant if you ever sell before the end of the term to someone other than an individual (and thus can’t transfer it).
I can’t find the thread back to thank the person who posted that , so unless s/he is identified, credit goes to Anonymous.
For fun(?) I recently had my brother (who works for a non-BMW dealer) price out a couple of coverage options.
I have better things to do with $6,000.

There’s always info on every brand-specific forum about which dealers have the lowest prices on extended OEM warranty products.
