BMW M5 Competition 2019

,

I haven’t seen them move past 13 percent on a M5 even a demo…

I would like 20 percent off lol

I will be monitoring this thread closely. Teach me your 20% off ways…

Has anyone here seen any 13% plus deals lately?

Not quite there yet. Maybe in an oddball combo.

I kinda figured as much.

A local dealer has a color and package combo I actually would build myself and the GM immediately offered invoice when I asked what they can do, which came out to about 7% off MSRP. I’m going to push more, but am trying to gauge what % is too much for right now.

Invoice is high. I’m getting below that on the new X3M’s. Shoot for 13% before incentives and bring it in.

Damn that’s legit.

I just emailed the GM asking for 13%. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Looks like you’re never getting one.

It’s possible on a super base car…After incentives…

TBH…If it was in my budget I’d have a crack at one to see how far I can get. The reality is though even with tax credit and a seriously screaming discount I just can’t justify spending that kind of money on both the payment and the invariably high insurance.

I have them at 12% discount
Asked for myself last month for 13% and it was a hard “no, com’mon, you know how deep we can go”

I’ve gotten to 11.3% on an almost $130k competition, and still negotiating. 10% seems to be the dealer go-to after the first back and forth. I’m going to keep pushing for that 13%.

After some wheeling and dealing, I got the dealer to agree to 13% off. I’ll post the details once signed.

17K (You said $130K, right?) is nothing to sneeze at! Before incentives right?

Can’t wait till someone hacks a demo as I can’t imagine there’s really any of these kicking around as loaners.

I decided on a different one with the dealer at $122k. Yep, 13% off before rebates. I’ll share the details once done.

Edit: I tried to hack a demo I found, and the dealer didn’t want to budge at all. The price was the same as a brand new one.

Any idea on the trunk yet ? Wait till end of year, or even after the year ends then watch them change their own statement.

No trunk money on them yet.

The M850xi did get some.

I picked up a 2019 m5 competition this past week. 36/15k, $123k sticker, 13% off, MF .00168 (inflated and nothing I could do regardless of income and credit score), RV of 57%. $3,000 due at signing including first month, registration and $925 dealer fee. Payment of $1,306 including tax and $4500 in rebates. Total of $1,399 with wheel/tire protection and maintenance plan.

I hit up several other dealers and no one would go above 11.4% off, so I went with the dealer who’d do 13% off and an inflated MF just to get the car in the color and with the options I really want. The dealer who came closest at 11.4% was on an almost $128k car and had accessories I didn’t think were worth the extra money.

I’ll post the deal specs over the weekend in a new thread.

A lower MF and lower discount probably would have saved me a few bucks, but I figure at this level of numbers, an extra $50/month is worth it to have the exact car I want and I was quickly getting over the back and forth haggling.

Thanks for sharing details. Make sure to post to the trophy garage. I see inventory has been moving pretty well but then also an influx of 2020s at a faster rate. What state are u from?

The 2019s have been moving well for sure. I was planning to wait until December, but decided now was the time to make a deal otherwise all that would be left are weirdly optioned cars.

I’m in SoCal. Basically every dealer in the greater LA area will do at least 10.5 to 11% no problem. Maybe even more in a few weeks.
