BMW Leasing Wiki

No there’s a max miles not min… why would bmw care about a min since they offer the new car lease package… they care about max due to residual

Probably an internal dealer policy maybe

That’s false. The minimum used to be 4,000 miles for bmw to lease a car as a “loaner”. It was recently just changed to 5500 IIRC

There’s a min policy. It’s posted in the very first post in this thread.

For BMWFS purposes, it treats "new " and demo (under the max) the same way. So technically it might count as “new” (vs. demo), but basically no the dealer isn’t prohibited from selling it and you get the same incentives/MF. Discount is negotiated btwn you and dealer (possibly there’s some trunk money lost from demo support on the dealer side tho)

ex. BMW DEMO minimum mileage requirements for leases

So I guess they’re saying they won’t discount it until 5500 miles (due to BMWNA support) or something, but I don’t think it’s accurate that they can’t sell that vehicle (e.g. the Mach-E mannequins which can’t be sold for x months/miles)

Someone said there was a min mileage for demos.

I started doing a log for the money factor. People used to ask “I’m going to lease a BMW in 2032 do you know what will be the MF?” Hopefully this thread will help them guess better.

If you like to add more info post here and I will edit the first post. Most of the info is taken from @discountsales2020 long thread.

There is some useful/additional info here, but it belongs in the BMW wiki, which has MF back to 9/2016 in the very first post.

Anyone know if I’d get approved for a m4 lease with a 650 credit score, mortgage and 3yr no missed payments with bmw?

Sorry if anyone already asked that before. I failed to find the following questions I’d like to ask:

  1. Can the new grad program stackable with Corporate Fleet Program? I feel it should be a very common question but it seems not asked.

  2. Almost all dealers I asked added the max 0.0004 to the original MF (0.00093) so now they give me MF as 0.00133. Is it possible to negotiate it?

Thank you very much!

Bmw , I believe requires 740. I may be wrong, someone here can chime in.

I believe BMW decisions with an auto-enhanced FICO (v. 8, if memory services), and the scale goes up to 900 (rather than 850 on the more common models that consumers encounter).

Unless that’s an auto-enhanced FICO, the one that gets pulled for your lease could be dramatically different.

Can the PenFed Member BMW Promo/Code be used with Loyalty and OL for a lease?

OL and penfed don’t combine unless the dealer messes up

Tried searching through prior threads and only found some stuff related to GM, but does anyone know if BMWFS allows a personal lease to be transferred to an LLC owned by the same person? After two 40+ minute holds followed by getting hung up on this morning, I’m done trying to reach out to them at the moment, but will try again tonight.

I’m exploring a move to the midwest and apparently, Arkansas re-taxes transfers into the state if you’ve paid less in your originating state vs. what their bill would be, which I’d rather avoid if there’s a permissible/legal way to do so. Moving it to the LLC would allow me to leave it out East for most of the year and have my parents use it (they’re listed as employees of the company), and then bring it out to AR periodically, but certainly less than half the year.

On a semi-related note, do financial planners help with these kinds of questions or who (beyond BMWFS) could I try to ask? Arkansas Department of Revenue apparently is a mail-only affair at the moment, but I tried reaching out to their revenue legal council representative from this document (https://www.ark.org/dfa-act896/index.php/api/document/download/20160406.pdf).

No idea on transferring from Personal to LLC.

These sorts of tax questions I usually run by my accountant, not my FP.

(Guessing) Walmart is lucky to have you :upside_down_face:

So I have an OL Code, Loyalty Eligibility, Conquest Eligibility, and Corporate Incentive Eligibility, and PenFed Eligibility.

I know I can only use one (Loyalty/Conquest/Corporate) and Loyalty/Corporate is the same incentive and higher than Conquest.

I have been getting quotes recently and they have been telling me I cannot stack Loyalty/Corporate with PenFed/Military, but someone posted their lease, (Mid October 2021), where they were able to use Loyalty and PenFed. The quotes I was getting were in late October 2021.

Is there any reason the dealer could be lying to me? Do they lose anything by combining the two? I’ve been trying to do some research but I’m not getting anywhere.

Loyalty and PF should stack if available. Ask them to double check the bmwfs matrix.

Unless a policy change happened @BMW_Dave

You can stack Loyalty and PenFed.

The Nov. Incentives have been out for a bit, but I am having trouble understanding it.

https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offers/year-end-sales-event.html

Essentially it says “up to” $2,500 off a new BMW 3 Series, but that is about it, it does not say what determines the “up to” nor does it say for example what applies to financing vs. leasing.

Any insights would be greatly appreciaited.

Welcome back after three years. As a reminder:

  • ignore website, national, and local ads
  • when you have a make/model you are interested in leasing, post on Edmunds leasing forums for that year/make/model to ask them what the residual/mf/incentives are for the term/mileage you want, in your zip code

For just incentives, you can also check Autobytel
