Yes, also have sent you a DM a little while ago
Sorry all false alarm. Itās the exact config I was watching but not leasable, which is why it came in 10k cheaper than the leasable one. Still not bad for cash at 6500mi odo. Has dapp, sport, radiant, air, vented massage, soft close, sensatec.
Trust me, you only want to lease these things.
Hi all, something interesting happened when I was charging my iX a few minutes ago to: I realized it took more than ten minutes and 11kWh at 99% and it didnāt reach 100%. I rarely exceed 85% and only charged to 100% once before for a road trip. Mileage is 8700 and I got it last December (thanks to @IAC_Scott).
I stopped charging before seeing 100% and on my way to home it dropped 1% for a 3-mile trip (which is expected). What do you think happened to the 11kWh for the last ~1%, do you think itās a battery defect or a software issue(bug or on purpose)?
Battery balancing at the top of the pack.
Itās a thing when you donāt charge to full from time to time.
This is 100% normal. Think of charging a battery like filling a glass of water from a faucet without spilling anything. When the glass is not near full you can really open the spigot and blast the water out. But as the water reaches the brim, you have to really, really slow down and be careful not to splash anything or cause drips!
In this case, it would be quite hazardous to overfill, so the EV charging systems need to be extremely careful and double-check all the cells in your battery to make 1000% sure none of them can be overfilled. Apparently, thereās quite of a lot of juggling of electrons required to charge to 100%, and itās especially difficult to do at high amperage!
Preaching to the choir here but damn the hype is real on these things. Easily my favourite car Iāve had. Shame I canāt send pics of the front end to anyone, but awesome car otherwise. Drives itself, parks itself, and an absolute rocket when I want it
And if you drive in low regen the B mode acts as a really great speed brake ā Really great for off-ramps that arenāt snowy.
Havenāt even tried B mode yet, my first EV so been enjoying how ānormalā the car feels (until you yam on the gas). Efficiency has been awesome but I wonder if itāll be even better in B
It isnāt. Outside of the use case I provided it mostly just forces one pedal driving which while generally useful isnāt always the most efficient.
B mode + Autohold⦠after a while youāll wonder why every car doesnāt drive like that.
Finally installed new tires on my 21" sport wheels. Went with the Hankook iON evo AS SUV in size 255/50R21XL. Have run these on Model Yās in the past and been very impressed. Already seem quieter than the 30k mile Goodyear Eagleās they replaced. Did not get auto discovered, so I had to add them in tire settings manually.

Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System\ $3,400
Canāt seem to build with dark graphite & m-sport.
Canāt see how to include tow hitch.
I think because those arenāt being produced yet, theyāre not in the configurator. For example the tow hitch is start of production in July
DG is not available with ZMP
Look at the ordering guide I sent you earlier in the month. Graphite is excluded from M sport.
Maybe thatās OK. I can still get the wheels, handling package and multi-function seats. Those seats look like an upgrade from the flat seating offered presently. I lose out on the bumper and other small cosmetics.
You wonāt get those new seats without the ZMP package. Those are the M Multifunction seats.
Q was specifically asked to a reviewer and it was confirmed.
Without ZMP, seats are unchanged. See the configurator.
