BMW i8 Lease Search

Can you fit your child’s car seat in 911?

Booster seat yep. Both in i8 and 911

3 years old is too young for the booster seat, so take 911/i8 off your list. Time is running out.

That still seems like quite a good deal… Where does this figure need to be for you to jump on this?

No. I’ve been using a booster seat for some months now. It works out. I got a big boy lol.

Referring to an i8 as simply “a 3 banger” is a bit disingenuous. It may not be your cup o’tea (or mine FWIW) but in some ways you gotta respect what BMW did with this car… or not

It’s a good deal for now. I’d ideally like to get it for 1300 but nonetheless it’s a good deal for now.

Technologically ground-breaking? Yes.

Price-point to performance ratio? No.

If your interested in the Maserati Ghibli and only want to keep 2 years then isnt buying a used one better? Something like this has already taken the hit on depreciation: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/743913404/overview/

Thats just one example, there are ones with warranty 2017 models for $40-50k. Both the i8 and Ghibli are not hot selling cars and people are buying Teslas instead. Leases wont be great as residual will be horrible, but buying 2nd hand seems to be the smarter move for these 2 particular cars.

I think this would be the best option for the Ghibli. But I’ve gotten my sight set on a BMW i8. The one I posted earlier for 83k OTD got sold last weekend. With a car unknown like that I’m leaning towards just leasing it for 20 months.

Bmw doesn’t have 20 month programs

I believe they are one of the few manufactures that offer 30 in addition to 24 however.

I’m fairly certain that the figure of “$1444.50 w/ no money down” quoted in an earlier post was for a significantly longer term… 36 mos. perhaps? PBAJ may be referring to assuming an existing lease w/ around 20 months remaining.

I would think that a new '18 i8 would be nearly impossible to achieve at his monthly target of $1300 for a 24 mo. (20?) term without significant $ DAS. Then again… WTFDIK?

The 20 month is a Lease transfer. Sorry for the miscommunication.

Receiving quotes on car delivery services from California to Metro Atlanta. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Expect about $1/mile for open container. Get it insured.

Drive it back #epicroadtrip

Search the forum. You’ve been around here long enough to know that.

Yea, I’ve been doing some research on it. Just wanted to get others opinion.

So I decided to go with an offer for 1444 a month including taxes on an 2017 i8. I did an application two hours ago and got declined. They wouldn’t give me a reasoning for declining my application BMWFS but told me they would send me something in the mail on the reasoning in the next 30 days. I’m very shocked and sad at this decision as my income is 6 figures and my credit score is 750+. I’ve never been declined for anything in my life.

Anyone know what it could be and why I got declined?

So my options it seems like are just lease something else (like Ghibli) or purchase a used BMW i8.

The plot thickens. 2020

Why am I not surprised? So, no deal in August…or ever, on anything over $400/mo, if that. I guess you need to come out of semi-retirement to qualify for your dream car :smirk:
