The interior - it seems they try to copy tesla and end up with similar thing volvo & vw did. If you change the badge to vw, it looks exactly like iD4 interior. Urrgh.

They copied the worst design elements though. It’s like someone at BMW is pulling some innovation by wanting the absolute worst possible thinking all these retro-trends will return soon.

Imho, eq interior is the best among other german makers, Benz just need to use GLE, GLS, C, E, S ice exterior and put battery on them.
I sort of like the neue classe, not a fan of the 4 series or IX though. I think the Neue classe looks like a “futuristic” car but the IX is like a weird attempt at one? idk.
Imho, i4 & iX overall exterior is fine if only they just fix that fugly grill. Exchange it with i5 grill n I’ll get the i4.
Yeah, I like the new 5 series grille. It looks awesome at night with the surrounding glow. I just picked up an M340i about two weeks ago and I think that design is perfect. Sucks because I’d love the M4 but it’s just so ugly I can’t stand it.

I don’t mind the BMW grille so much, but the LCI interiors with the huge tablet attached in front is a big turn off. Why can’t they just have Porsche’s more integrated screens?
They just need to shave the slope behind to make it more like a 2nd gen panamera instead of a 1st gen panamera. I can deal with a little less trunk space for a much nicer looking car.
If you watch the videos, you’ll see the interior is actually quite novel. What they’re doing with the wraparound HUD is incredible. It’s the best execution of a dash display I’ve ever seen.
Coming from an iX owner, I really dig the design. The grille, though improved, is my least favorite part.
