What is a fair cap cost after incentives,

August money factor and residual? Incentives? Loyalty? Other money to know about?

What is a fair lease payment 36/10k?

Too much info, someone gonna snatch it before you even find the numbers….

Edited. Thanks. Not overly concerned. But would like to know fair price.

Any thoughts re discount off of MSRP before the $13k in lease support and loyalty?

You need to provide more info…what year? How many miles?

If 2023 and several K miles I’d say at least 20% discount before incentives.

Learn how to use the calc and come up with a target payment using discount you want and any incentives along with base MF and your term RV.

ā€˜24 Under 5K

I’d still shoot for 20% off MSRP…and make sure it is CPO with 4 year unlimited mileage warranty…learn to use LH calc and find the data you need to populate or you will still get taken.

I don’t think a loaner can qualify for a new-car lease structure if it’s been CPO’d. OP would want to check when the car was punched to see if the original warranty will cover the duration of the lease.

Mileage really shouldn’t be an issue at under 5K. Although retired loaners had to have 5500 mi?

Yep CPO loaners can be leased. At least MB can if under 10K miles.

I understand CPOs can be leased. But do they have the same RV, buy rate MF, and do they qualify for rebates like a new car or demo/loaner unit?

I think there is some confustion here so let me clear this up.

As of toady, 8/9/2024,

  • Loaners under 15k miles can be leased with lease support (slightly different for EV’s)
  • Loaners can also be certified/CPO’d and leased, which makes zero difference in terms of their lease-ability, but it makes little sense for a dealer to certify a loaner they plan to lease anyway.
  • CPO cars that were not former loaners or demos cannot be leased.

Thanks for the info.

I assume that, from a buyer’s perspective, there is also essentially no benefit in a CPO loaner lease (vs. just a ā€œregularā€ loaner lease)

  • If the car would still be covered under the original warranty for the duration of the lease; and
  • B/c it would partially negate the cost savings in leasing in a loaner (vs. leasing a brand-new car)

There is some, if your car runs out of warranty before lease end if its a really f*$#in old unit

4 year warranty, 1+ year punched on lot, 3 year lease, and you’ll be out of warranty at the end but that’s bloody semantics at that point

Spoke with the sales manager looks like they are at 21.3% off msrp but .0003 mark up on MF (probably to feed finance). Not the BIGGEST fan of the spec but it will make a great deal.

Next time post less info

Yes, agreed w/ the ā€œuse caseā€ you provided.

Are there a lot of loaners sitting around one yr after being punched???

You want a unicorn or not /s

If you lease for 4 years or want to buy it after the lease, CPO will be better? Lease cost for CPO will be the same as regular ones?
