Question for the BMW hackers: Does BMW Financial do leases for low mileage CPOs? Is it even worth it compared to new?
I’m looking for options since my current BMW lease is up soon and the prices are just so much higher than in 2020.
TIA.

As of 2017 their was a CPO lease program at BMW. It’s beyond a challenge to even get a salesperson or perhaps even a finance person that knows this is even an option. It is or was relatively hidden away on the Infobahn at the time. In my head I was going to save $200 month and be driving an equivalent vehicle. In reality I saved $37 month and took on a good bit more risk than I otherwise would have. It’s almost automatic that you’ll be on the hook for a set of tires and potentially even brake pads.
Keep in mind that you have fewer levers to pull in order to turn the deal in your favor. Their isn’t an incentivized mf or rebates (OL Code) available on a CPO lease and as of 12-18 months ago BMW has lowered the RV’s on new vehicles back into reality vs artificially propping them up as they had done in the past. I have no idea how or if the program changed when BMW decided to start penalizing loaners with the mileage on them for demos.
Ideally you can get the two month extension that everyone is getting from BMW at the end of their lease to kick the can and your current payment down the road for a little while longer.
