BMW 3-series $3000 lease credit continuing through end of January

Has anyone spoken to any BMW dealer directly to confirm (1) what loyalty is for this month on 2017 and 2018 and, (2) whether there is indeed no BMW credit for 2018s?

I was pricing out 1 that had over 5k. Dealer said the $3,000 incentive couldn’t be applied to that one. When I tried to get confirmation on that 5k being the benchmark, he went dark.

Yes, there was a $2000 incentive to dealer on loaners. Now there is 0. It is in addition to $3000 lease incentive. So, no more deals on loaner…

Was told by sales at Passport BMW.

And that was an incentive that was paid at the time the loaner was sold? I thought BMW paid dealers a certain amount of money when it was punched for loaner duty and a certain amount of money when it was taken out of service.

Not sure, he only mentioned now all loaners will be $2000 more.

That’s what I also was thinking. Volvo pays $2,100 for a punched car. So I guess it might have counted as extra discount in 2017, but not in 2018 since it was “sold” in 2017?

I could see it being that all loaners moving forward will be $2000 more expensive for the time being, but I’d be surprised if cars that were put up before 1/2 got more expensive. Could be wrong - usually am

It was $2000 BMW allowance for Service Loaner. Now it’s dead. No more deals on BMW. :frowning:

You had to fight to get the $2000 allowance which was part of the Road Home Sales Event, which was in addition to the $3000 Holiday cash. It wasn’t specific to just service loaners only from my understanding. Most dealers claimed to have little knowledge of who would qualify, and with what type of purchase. I believe part of its purpose was to help pay of BMW owners existing leases. I think it was tied into having great credit as a prerequisite?

I’ll be going into my local dealer tomorrow. I’ll let you know what the numbers look like.

TrueCar programs are showing $4000 customer cash through the end of January on 2018 3-series. Puzzling

Does anyone know if the holiday credit is extended for all car models? I’m interested in the i3 REX.

Anyone having any luck with a 3 series under $300 in the northeast? Any specific dealers? Passport is terrible at email communications!

Depends on the sales rep at Passport. Try Daniel Rose - daniel.rose@passportauto.com.

4000 seems to apply. Got an email from a dealer yesterday which included current incentives. 4,000 off a 2018 3 series was listed.

Passport just sent out a loaner liquidation sale this morning, several advertises 330i xdrive’s for between 246-280. Don’t specify terms. Here is another product specialist email - max.manes@passportauto.com. Didn’t end up signing a deal with him, but was easy to work with.

example of one -

You have to be careful with that price. That assumes you’re paying the 925 acquisition fee + all other fees up front. If you’re going to roll those in, your payment will be higher, obviously.

I just got a 330i from Passport with 4300 miles for $350/mo with first month and dmv due at signing. MSRP: $47535

is the 4000 off just for loan purchasers or does it also apply to leases?

4000 lease cash on 18s, 3000 lease cash on 17s
