Solid short term m3 deal given the current market conditions, might get you far enough to where leasing the new generation m3 is possible while getting a good deal.
$725/mo with 1k miles/mo for 18 months

If any of these leads pan out, folks should give you some $
Description says there’s a $3k downpayment to be made on top of the transfer fee which puts the monthly roughly at ~$900
Wow, 20k down payment.
That’s too excessive. I wound bite at 10k max.
I was unsure about SwapaLease. However, after reading these comments, it appears to be legit. Is the membership fee a one time deal or monthly or annually? Are there other fees they charge? Thanks Jim
You are correct I missed that, not sure what California registration looks like but maybe it’s to recover that?
It’s $30 or $60 for membership, they ran a special where it was $30… you can look up a few posts and see it, they are incredibly negotiable as bostoncarriage said so you might be able to score.
You pay the membership fee and they give you 10 contacts, once you use all 10 you call them and have them reset it back to 10, rinse and repeat.
You just missed a 530/month with 1500 das, 780 effective in PLT.
Yes!!! I remember The hidden ♂
Thank you! They offered $45 membership fee, but may try to negotiate for less. i was also curious if they charged a fee of some sort when you found a lease you wanted to take over.
No fee, once you contact the original leasee everything is between you and him/her.
It’s an Ally lease, must be in MA to takeover.
Ally has suspended lease transfers currently
I recall that, yeah but still a solid deal when they (hopefully) resume.
Had a sweet deal on a Challenger widebody lined up, the guy contacted ally and they said the lease swap team had been dissolved essentially and no idea if/when it would come back.
Then it’s safe to assume they will never come back.
That would be nice, but I’m sure you have seen how cheap some of the people on here are. Even a donation towards the site or a charity would be a tall order. I’m shopping for myself at the moment so stuff that looks appealing but isn’t for me ends up here.
I’m hoping people will periodically browse swapalease and pay it forward to the community if they see something that looks good but necessarily doesn’t fit their needs or wants.
I feel like this thread is a good ying yang sort of thing with the worst leases thread, here instead of a good laugh people can be productive and maybe help someone else.
I actually have my Tundra listed on SAL for $285/mo + 2750 DAS. 18 mos left. I previously had it listed for $2k DAS but got 25+ requests in a day to the point where I increased the DAS because I obviously made the deal way too aggressive. I got a local guy trying to take it over for $2k. I have had a bunch of people trying to take it over offer $2500-2700, but they’re all from far away and I’d prefer someone local or another Hackr, although the deal is no longer hackr worthy lol.
Anyway, no skin off my back, worst case scenario I’ll take the $2k. I put $620 DAS when I got it…
Is it Ally or USB?
