Best lease deals currently?

Hi. I was digging for iX but I realized that there was a great deal for eqs before so I wanna pause for a moment and look if there is a better deal. Is iX currently the best deal? Or am I missing something?
I am only looking for an EV that ranges similar or more than iX50 which limits a lot.
I have BMW loyalty, costco if it helps.

Also, I am living in IL and best deal I got was 9% base MF locally. How much difference in deal after broker fee and shipping would it makes sense to buy non locally for you guys?

Thanks in advance

Hopefully not in Chicago if you’re looking for leases.

Not the city at least. It seems like 7.25% tax here.

That definitely beats the ~20% tax rate of Chicago leases

I am glad I am not in cook county. BTW, is iX the best offer considering the lease value and car’s overall rating (I know that giant nose)?

Best lease values right now seem to be on stuff like the ev9, lyric, ev6, etc

Oh. I’m only looking for little more expensive brands.

Cook County is fine as long as you are not in the City of Chicago.

IIRC @IAC_Scott was serving midwest for bmw ix deals

Thx for advice. Already had touch with IAC

saw signed deals for EV9 but no one seems to have a deal on it currently. Actively looking for one, let me know if you have leads.

What is the metric for judging whether one deal is better than another?

It is a complex question but I consider better deal as per car, how worth it is for the car. While absolute value is significant also, relative value is what I kinda look for.

How about you? What do you value?

From what I have gathered, EQS is still leasing cheaper than an iX.
Leasable Demos gives the best deals for either vehicles.

Thx for the reply. I might be missing something but the marketplace discount rate and signed deals don’t match well. Do you know where the discrepancy is coming from?

Plenty of 2023 Ariyas available in IL. Not sure if it’s premium enough for what you’re looking for. But the 18 mo lease incentives right now are hard to beat.

While that is not in my radar, that deal sounds fantastic!
I might need to consider for in town driving.

Do you care more about limiting your spending or showing off? Also, isn’t the closest competitor to the iX the EQE (both midsize) rather than EQS (full-size)? There’s no X7-class EV yet. For the same price, I’d take the pig over the blob. EQS is more of a status symbol but also costs significantly more to insure, even if you can land a deal with payments in the same range as the other two. The MSRPs are high on these cars so a few percentage points more discount probably makes it worth the broker fee and shipping to get an out-of-region deal. Especially if you find a loaner.

I can understand not wanting to go down to a Kia or Nissan, but Cadillac’s Lyriq holds up pretty well, especially if cost is a consideration. Personally, the Lyriq is my favorite purely based on looks, although it’s definitely on the same level in terms of comfort and ride quality.

Thx for the reply.
I care the quality of car over showing off and iX was a better fit in my own scale. It seems like iX is kinda middle between EQE and EQS regarding size, Battery, and such. Still EQE might be the closest but EQE’s range is quite limited and couldn’t make my potential long range drive without charging.

Yeah, Lyriq was one of my interest also. It is a interesting vehicle.

Eqe350+ range is 307 miles

IX xDrive50 range is 309 miles

Oh I need 4 matic and on highway, I saw it differed abt 40 miles. And while it is not a strictly controlled test, youtuber I watch tested both vehicle and they had over 60 mile difference. While there would be some variable that might change difference between them, still it was a big range difference. Especially I am buying EV for the first time, range was my top priority.
