4 matic range is a decent bit lower.
Yeah true. But upon reviewing, EQE seems to have respectable range still. Maybe they might go triple digit during facelift like EQS added some battery.
BMW efficiency is better in the cold/winter vs MB. Since you live in a cold-weather part of the country, I would compare range in your worst-case weather scenario, not the best-case.
Also compare regen braking performance, BMW regen is very smooth where-as MB has an odd kind of brake pedal modulation behavior. If you wind up turning down regen, you wonât hit any of the range estimates you are comparing. If you drive too fast, you also wonât hit range estimates (either vehicle).
I can understand range anxiety for a first time EV owner, but do you shop for ICE vehicle and compare gas tank sizes? When road-tripping, 250 miles of range is over 4 hours of continuous driving.
Range wise, I think the Eqs 450+ is your best bet.
Iâm getting 500+ miles on a charge with my 2023 EQS
Which is one of many reasons why discussing âbest dealâ is moot.
500+ mile is insane. Thatâs Sedan right?
Yes, the EQS 450+ sedan. Which is a rear wheel drive.
I had the EQS suv for few days. Terrible range and energy efficiency.
You really need to pick the car you like best rather than concentrate on the best âdealâ or longest range. If range is all you care about, go for a Lucid, or buy a Toyota Hybrid. No sense spending a large some on a vehicle that was a great deal to find you hate the vehicle after a few months.
I might be missing something too because I am not seeing a discrepancy. The Signed deals are between $800-$900, while the brokers are offering something similar in the marketplace. These are for new cars. Loaners should save you $100+/month more.
I just looked at Autocompanion offering 12.5% discount on new iX. That seems pretty sweet. I am not personally looking to buy an iX so I have not run the numbers in the calculator.
Have you driven either one of these vehicles? If so, which one did you like best?
