Best Dodge Dealers in Tampa

Hi All,

New here and I’m already loving this page for having the vast knowledge base.

Please could someone let me know which Dodge dealer in and around Tampa is the best in giving good lease deals.

I am basically looking for a 2018 R/T 392 and SRT 392.
My budget is 400-450. Not sure if that is achievable. If it is not ; please could you also suggest how much should i be expecting to pay per month on these trims.
Term would be 24 months 10k per year.

TIA.

Is there such a thing as a “best” FCA dealer!?

Best in the sense who can really try to work on your needs.

At this point in the year you will be hard pressed to find any 2018 SRT’s on dealer lots. Just did a cargurus search and there are 6 Challengers and 7 Chargers within 500 miles of Tampa. My dealer has none and neither does there sister dealer in Orlando. You will be looking at just the Scat Pack 392 which are more abundant. You won’t be able to get one for $400-450 unless it’s a bare bones base model. Do a search of the forum and see how another member faired on finding one as he has been searching for a while. My guess is you will be over $500-$550 with little to no DAS.

Thanks you very much for the detailed response!

What is your opinion on the Scat Pack 392.
I have been reading some good but also some bad reviews on this lately.

This is my 2018 Charger Scat Pack 392, absolutely don’t regret my decision as at all as it is such a fun car. I got mine in March and chose this $51k Scat Pack because the only difference between this and the SRT is the suspension and astetics with the price increase not worth it at all. Got mine for $497 a month with $500 DAS but residuals, Mf and incentives have changed since then. The only thing I will do next time is get a Hellcat instead.

That’s a lovely color!
Yes, i got to know that Hellcat has got some Residuals according to Edmund’s.

But HC would be too expensive for me unless i get a good deal under $500 with a little to no DAS.
As I said, i am newbie here and to leasing, so my mind is wandering to lot many places trying to figure out how to crack the best deal.

I liked Jerry Ulm on Dale Mabry, hated Ferman.

I lived in Tampa for 14 years, worked at Brandon Honda. The dealer next to it, Courtesy Dodge, doesnt have any I believe but Ive bought 2 cars there and they were tough sales but in the end the manager would usually do the deal before letting me leave. I have not been able to get a scat Challenger or Charger on east coast for under $450 yet. So you and I are same boat my friend.

This is my experience, Jerry Ulm was overpriced with weak inventory, Ferman didn’t even respond to me when searching so they were off my list. Courtesy was my second choice as it is literally 5 miles from my house, and had the second best deal but in the end couldn’t make it happen. I tried outside in Sarasota and as far south as Naples and north as Jacksonville. In the end I came to an awesome deal with Lakeland CDJR with their sister dealer being Airport CDJR in Orlando. One of the easiest over email purchases I’ve ever had and beat every local and non local dealer. Transferred the car to Lakeland from Orlando and was in and out in about and hour. Good luck on the search guys, your best bet will be to wait til the end of the month and HOPE the dealer is short and needs to move a unit.

What’s up with these dealers, these cars are ancient and have their roots in the daimler chrysler era, are they truly special? I think not

Looks like many hackrs here got some really good deals from Calif.
What is your opinion on purchasing the car from Caif and registering it in in Tampa?
What are the pros and cons?

Hi All,

Is the below deal yay or nay for 2018 DODGE CHALLENGER 392 HEMI SCAT PACK SHAKER

Also to add i got my Scat pack at the end of July $410 a month $500 DAS not a bare bones model either. Its a super fun car to drive had a little fun on my way to work lol. As Jdawg said i couldn’t justify the extra money for the SRT when my Scat pack has all the options i wan’t and to add i had to go outside my area to get mine i’m in Utah drove 8 hours to Idaho to get mine it was a fun drive back.

$47k car and $721 payment…

Ask yourself if does it really look like a “yay” ?

This is a hard no. Plain and simple. Not even close.

What should be the ideal monthly payment for this car?
I told the dealer that $721 is way out of my budget and she replied it is impossible to expect the monthly payment to be under or close to $500 for a $47k value car.
I told her that Hellcats are leasing for $600s and hung up the call.

I pay 439 a mo for 36/12 with $639 at signing on 45,830 msrp. Ally bank. So that is an absurd offer. The highest offer I had was on $48k challenger at $580 and that was 48/10. Haha. Cargurus.com shows that car has been on sale for 463 days! They must have loved it sitting there collecting flat spots and sun damaged paint

First problem is that I believe the sweet spot on these leases will be 36 months. Second problem is they gave you a discount of $785 off MSRP before the rebates. That’s 1.67% off which is nowhere close. Tell her you want $4500 off the price of the car before rebates which will put you right about 10% off plus rebates. If they won’t give you the 10% then move onto another dealer. Third problem is that your looking in the Ft Lauderdale/Miami area which will 9/10 will never net you a good deal. To many stupid rich status symbol people down there that have a lot of money to accept any offer the dealer throw at them. Keep trying tho!

You are right. But none of the dealers in Tampa are good too.
If i want to lease from another state, which state would you think is customer friendly?
