So I regularly have 3 people sit in the third row of my X7, which it is not meant for, so yes I need the full 3. I actually sat in the third row of a true three seater (Telluride) and it was quite comfortable. It looks like best deals right now are on QX80, so trying to see what I can do with some local dealers. I’m still interested in seeing if Cadillac will get EV deals on its e-Escalade, but I’m not holding my breath.

Between the two I would much rather do what I did last time and buy the Telluride.
I couldn’t stand the last gen Armada/QX80 and given Nissan’s financial crisis I have no confidence they were able to invest enough into these.
The higher end trims of the Palluride are really nice and don’t feel like lipstick on a pig to me.

Don’t need a German tag as that would be impossible, Germans don’t believe in the 8th seat.
Telluride is nice, but higher trims require captain seats, which kill the deal of maximizing seating capacity.

This is going to vary dramatically from dealer to dealer.
fwiw I had an INFINITI for ~10 years, and the dealership (Kearny Mesa INFINITI in San Diego) service experience was the best of any brand I’ve owned.
Among other things, they price-matched tires from anywhere.
Once, I dropped the car off for service / new tires and left a Discount Tire quote to match for the tires.
When I picked up the car my SA told me that he found the tires for less somewhere else, and price matched that instead.
Their SAs also stuck around for the long term, so it must have been a good place to work.
