Benz G580 EV Wagon- Lease deals

Yes but there are certain vehicles that depending on where they are made still don’t qualify for the government credit. That’s at least what the sales guy at the MB dealership told me last week. And it comes out of MB pocket to remain competitive. Now would I be shocked a dealer lied to me? Hell no.

It’s certainly not a terrible deal. The base models with like nothing in it that msrp is the 160’s are going for 2200/month with no down so this relatively makes sense. They just have no incentives right now but you’re getting a nice discount on the vehicle I think. I do think they will be bigger later this year though, comparing to the EQ discounts last year.

What your sales guy said only applies to purchases, but doesn’t apply to leases.

It would be cheaper effective monthly to buy a G63 even with say a $15k ADM and drive it for 36/10 than do that lease.

240 miles of range

And that’s prob never going over 70 mph or going 0-60 in under 9 seconds.

Sure, I’ll take one…

When they’re like $600 a month.

ETA:

I’m excited for a first time poster (broker) popping in with a unicorn of $1,700 a month

They will have to get to a point where they’re almost giving them away at some juncture.

Worth reading 165 posts just for this

I just clarified with my dealer and he’s offering me $2200 per month tax included. Which seems like a good deal to me on a $175k vehicle. More than covers the $5000 down. I forget do they charge you tax on MSRP or the negotiated price?

No amount of clarification will make it a good deal as @moodyhank’s original response relayed. If this is the car you want, and you want it right now, and you can afford the payments, then enjoy the car and post pics in the Trophy Garage

Otherwise, see Mr. Hank’s post and wait it out

You can get a Mclaren for same monthly and more enjoyable/fun car

If you cannot evaluate a deal beyond just looking at payment/MSRP then you should know there are people here paying sub $800 for $150k cars.

Do you want to share with the class how much the Maserati was actually worth to you?

I did… $3100 for 12 months.

Follow me here… people bring the pitch forks out whenever there is mention of the “1% rule”. Is that not based off of similar principles..? lol

We can’t judge the quality of a lease deal based simply off of the monthly vs the MSRP

I’ve got a Taycan ending Oct 1. Sep 30th EV credits gone. Can extend the Taycan 2 months and it’s so cheap I just might regardless, but I’m wondering how hard the Sept push on these will be.

This month we’ll see the $2k offers that will draw no interest. Next month we test $1500 and a small handful jump. Late Sept my goal is to find 1 for anything without a comma. Prob a little unrealistic, but I’m gonna try.
