The G580 EV G-Wagon has been a complete flop in the market. There are many nationwide sitting on lots. I’m interested to hear of any lease deals fellow hackrs have heard about or future rumblings. I am interested in upgrading my daily commuter if the lease price is right.
If you want a real answer, just monitor the posted deals on the marketplace here or maybe become a super supporter to see when MB increases the rebates on these things to move them off lots.
My personal guess is that when the end of the EV rebate approaches following passage of a bill that I hear is big and beautiful, OEMs are really going to work to push these things off lots to prevent having to add another $7,500 rebate to get back to where the price was (and where they still weren’t selling) before the rebate went away.
Thanks EC99, I regularly check the signed deal forum to see latest lease trends.
With all jokes aside, Benz probably won’t issue a “fire sale” until the current year (2025) model ends up hanging around in 2026. This is what we seen with the EQS with very high MSRP’s.
I just looked up the RV and MF. This car is so bad that even 30% off and buy rate can’t save it. It’s hundreds a month more expensive than my 911 at 30% off and buy rate. WTF?!?!?!
If you need a slab sided midsize refrigerator SUV anyway it might be amusing to own for a few years at the right price. I’d pay more for it than an EQS I guess (not that much more).
One of these days ya’ll are going to realize it’s a Geländewagen … so it’s a G-Wagen.
Not a G Wagon.
@djrabbi says he’s going to buy all of them at a premium since he views Benz as a premium brand and doesn’t want to see pricing diluted with discounts.
