Just wanted to see if anyone here could recommend a sales person at Audi Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach? I need to return my MBZ lease next month and just thought I would ask instead of just showing up cold turkey to their door.

Are you planning to sell your MB to get an Audi at FJ?
Iām just trying to understand the underlying question (since FJ has a Mercedes dealership in Newport Beachā¦).
One of these days LH is going to spawn a dealer-rater system so people know when to not waste time trying to haggle a showroom or ownership umbrella.
For California, The very tip-top of that list of āif youāre trying to score a LH worthy deal, just avoid to save everyone the hassleā will be the Envision showrooms. Closely followed by the Fletcher Jones shops.
For real, I donāt actually think anyone on LH has ever hacked a deal going through those Envision/FJ showrooms without a broker. They donāt want poors off the street to bother their sales staff or dirtying their showroom.
I know the folks out East have their list of ādonāt waste your timeā stores as well. Definitely valuable info to gate behind a LH subscription.
Call and make an appointment for lease return.
Whichever salesperson you contact is 99% guaranteed to pawn you off to that person anyway.
Yea sorry, I currently have MBZ lease and is up next month. I am trying to decide btw a EQE SUV or the new Q6 Etron. I have an appt to test drive a EQE so I thought because those 2 dealerships are so close I would test drive the Q6 as well..
Why donāt you just ground early (MBFS waives the last payment) using MB Loyalty and apply that towards a ultra-discounted AMG EQE SUV? The loyalty incentive makes already spicy leases super spicy.
Or go snag a EQS680 Maybach SUV. $20k loyalty incentive this month.
Then just make an appt to test drive the Q6.
As has been said above, trying to negotiate a deal at the dealership is generally not an effective way of getting a good deal. Consider separating the test drive from the negotiating process.
Test drive the cars to determine which you like better, then do some research on your own (using info here and anyhere else) to determine what a strong deal for that car is, and then making offers to dealerships (via e-mail, texting, or calling).
You donāt need a contact at an Audi dealership to do any of the above.
And, if you decide you like the Audi, there is at least one highly rated OC Audi salesperson who posts in the Marketplace.

This isnāt entirely true. Audi of Beverly Hills is a FJ store and Sam always had spectacular deals there. Newport Beach? Terrible all around. In full agreement about envision though.
Yeah Fletcher Jones, Autonation, Lithiaā¦donāt waster your time with any of those.
There are plenty of deals to be had at autonation and lithia stores. Sonic on the other handā¦also deals to be had but they are a royal pain in the balls every single step of the way
Not my experience. Only exception is Larry H Miller. They allow some autonomy at the store level.
Well hereās an update on FJ Audiā¦ I just walked out of the dealer, they have a dealer markup right off the rip of $5,000ā¦ This isnt 2019 2020 when I remember most dealers had an automatic 10K added to the MSRP.
In general you arenāt going to get any kind of deal in Newportā¦try Carlsbad area or the IE.
Someone has to pay that markup otherwise they wouldnāt do it right? Theyāre going for the type of customer who doesnāt even look at the cost. Just calls the dealership and says I want this car, Iāll have my assistant come down with a check this afternoon.
Canāt blame them really. Iād do the same thing.

Yep a target deal needs to be in work already of courseā¦but Newport area is full of crazy coin uneducated buyers that keep the dealership coffers fullā¦they rarely come close to any target deal.

@Samaudibh ā¦ funniest thing youāll ready today. Someone off the street thought they could get a deal at a FJ showroom without going through you.
Thatās kind of my point thoughā¦ you need a LH Broker/Dealer to actually score from these showrooms.
Going in raw like @LAK1ngs is just going to get you some disease.
