Are Other Brands responding to the Recent Tesla Price Drop? Nissan, Ford, Toyota Genesis?

In PA and started to look at various EVs. Still researching and trying to get a feeling for the Ariya (either Engage+ or Platinum+ trims)

Looked at a Ford Mustang Mach-e today ( will need to test drive on another day)

We were surprised when Tesla dropped Model X prices last week and when dealers called us on some initial offers, they had no response to the recent Tesla Price drop of $4500 to $5K from last Friday/Saturday.

Are other brands reacting to the Tesla Price drop?

You already mentioned Ariya.

  • Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 has 10k lease cash.
  • EV6 has $11k rebates.
  • bz4x has $16,250 for 2024 and $17,750 for 2023 in manufacturer rebates.
  • Solterra has 7.5k rebate and 2.5k dealer cash (10k in total).
  • Mercedes EQB, EQE, and EQS have been selling cheap for over an year now.
  • BMW’s iX lease payments are coming down too.
  • Lucid Air Pure 2023 had $28,650 discount with monthly payments under $400 and got snatched up in two days.

Every inflated EV has discounts now.

It would be nice to keep the discussion here though:

There’s no price reduction on MX since September 2023.
