,

My lease is up soon and I’m interested in either a 2019 or 2020 F-150 platinum/king ranch has anyone hacked one of these ? I’m on NY willing to travel to the tri state.

iirc they don’t lease great. did you do a search for it?

Didn’t find anything on a platinum

Yes I did no platinums

I’ve been trying for months. I have a 2018 King Ranch that was a 2 yr lease and needs to go back. I really love the F150 and the 2 year lease, so I’m going to go with it (Platinum this time), even though I know it doesn’t lease great. I’m definitely not one to settle for less because of a great deal, so I’ve been working on getting the best deal for what I want. The other truck I considered is the Ram and from what I learned, when you’re shopping the higher trims, they don’t lease any better. We also considered a larger SUV, but again, looking at the higher trim levels, the numbers were not really better than what I’ve been able to work out on the F150.
For reference, I have gotten 1 dealer to 10% off pre-incentives, with buy rate. A couple others went to 9+%.

Did you filter the results? Seems like you didn’t search hard enough, to be fair though this is all I found.

Thanks appreciate it was looking at more recent

What did you lease look like on the king ranch ? I was also considering a loaded Laramie looks like some ppl got good deals on those

I knew nothing about LeaseHackr when I leased the King Ranch, so I couldn’t tell you what the numbers looked like. We did a 24 month 1-pay and paid $18,xxx (I can’t remember exactly). I did push for a decent deal, but I could have done better, I think. The King Ranch winds up being more $ when loaded like a Platinum, which ours is ($72k MSRP). The Platinum I’m looking at now isn’t missing anything except the tow mirrors, and MSRP is about $68k. I do love the KR, but want to change it up a little this time!
I would have definitely considered a loaded Laramie, but couldn’t find one that had everything we wanted. I even tried a broker and he couldn’t find anything with an MSRP over $60k. But, if you’re not as picky as I am, you might get a great deal🙂

thats probably the highest percent discount you are going to see, 12% is well below invoice and should be close to employee pricing.

As far as data points go on this site thats all there is, most on this site arent willing to shell out $600-$700/mo on a pickup, and those who do get pickup trucks use them more for pleasure than business/practicality.

You should try f150forum and ask what others have paid on there.

any particular reason for 24 months vs 36? typically you save close to $50/mo just stretching the term.

Also I find the chrome bumpers on the king ranch is a huge turnoff, much prefer the body color bumpers on the platinum. The interior style is a wash, the black leather on the platinum is ehhhh but the dark marsala looks absolutely insane and is very comparable to the color scheme on the kr. I dislike the two tone on the kr as well but apparently you can get kr without that option now so thats a wash too. I guess it really depends on personal opinion. I feel like the king ranch is way too southern and the limited is way too urban, the platinum is a nice mix.

We really like only being committed for 2 years instead of 3. Even though the payment is a bit more, the total cost of the lease is less, and then we get a new ride in 2 years🙂 Yea, the visuals are all about preference. The King Ranch was perfect for me because I’m a horse girl. I love the western style, but it’s definitely not for everyone. I LOVE the Limited, especially since it has the Raptor motor now, but I don’t want to spend $6k more for it. Star white Platinum with Marsala interior is what I’m aiming for. I’m trying to pull the trigger today. Wish me luck!

You can also swap out of it…

Ironically, thats the exact color combo I have lol. Gl on the process.

So I’ve been working on this for a bit and this is the best deal I’ve got so far on 2020 black platinum with the Marsala interior. This particular dealer seemed eager to move the car but it seems from what I read 7.8% off msrp isn’t the best. What do you think of this deal as far as f150s go ?

59% is the residual for 15k?

Tough to say on the discount, should you get more? Yes there’s more room but the current situation makes inventory and stock low in certain regions, I was at 12% off on an outgoing 2018 before incentives, i.e 65k sticker = 57ish sales price so in your case 59k.

With the new 2021 launching soon I would say expect big discounts but with the production situation it’s hard to say seeing as 2020 production will be halted very soon.

It’s actually 13.5k miles but there’s no option for that on the calculator, if you don’t mind me asking what was the specifics on your deal? I’m gunna try to get them down more they’ve had this specific truck on the lot for almost 4 months

Keep in mind many dealers were forced to close for approx 2 months and several manufacturers have reduced floor plan interest rates to close to 0% for dealers.

Only personal opinion however when you factor those 2 things in on one of the most popular vehicles in the country. I wouldn’t count on that as being the driving factor to getting a better deal.
