Lexus has a $599/mo lease offer on a Lexus TX 350 which is the Lexus equivalent of the Toyota Grand Highlander with 3 row seating and great cargo space.
Did anyone grab this lease offer? Looks pretty good if legit.
Any recommendations or additional incentives that can be stacked like Costco?
Just to give you a data point this is what I do in CA, obviously market and incentives can vary greatly so you should get actual dealer offers instead of using a national ad
I haven’t followed the TX lately but offer doesn’t seem too bad relative to what the broker above provided as a data point. Only $16/month more effective than his before tax from rough math. Negotiate further if you want it.
For the sake of simplicity and setting aside any add-ons, let’s assume $1K total in doc fees and registration (don’t think Georgia is too crazy on both) which would add $28/month so combined with the $16 from earlier, that’s $44/month more.
Usually national offers on brands are significantly worse than this amount compared to brokers.
That’s neither here nor there. I’m sure Jeff himself will tell you that most Lexuses are not hackable. Whether another dealer is “kinda sorta” presumptively close to an unhacked deal doesn’t make it any more appealing.
Plus acq fee plus the difference in msrp on the unit to make things comparable.
Let’s start with what the advertised deal actually is instead of the clickbait headline fake number in the image since $599/$3999 isn’t what theyre actually advertising.
i dont see anything that stands out as a red flag aside from the Base FWD model not being available and the mileage being only 10k which is expected for low mileage leases.
The point was that national offers are usually much worse and in my initial response to OP, he should negotiate further if he wanted it. I kept assumptions on factors similar when comparing to Jeff’s data point since his car is basically a base at $56K as well. Since acq fee is not called out separately while others not included are, it’s possible the acq fee is captured in the $3999.
The point was not to argue every fee line item and whether there are differences in MSRP (which happens with deals here too).
