Well, time to bring this tale to a close. I went to the Audi dealer today and they were given the same purchase price to buy my Atlas that I was given. Long story short, they are cutting me a check for $4K and I leased a Q5 prem w convenience pkg, pano roof, Audi Guard Protection Kit & Audi Beam. Terms are 36/12K for $652/mo (incl tax) with $0 out of pocket. Not a fantastic deal, but certainly not too bad considering the market.
I am pleased all around. Cashed out the equity in the Atlas and got the wife a new car she is very happy with.
