I noticed the $5350 incentive a couple days ago. People say its a glorified civic, but a civic payment is higher. If you could get 10% off before the incentives, you could be around $200. Looks like you’re at 7% now.

Thanks for the insight! Can’t seem to find incentives that add up to the 5350 - know where you may have seen it? I have only come across 3500 Lease Bonus Cash.

$200 before tax. Honda tends to be marked up about 10% from invoice, thats where im getting that percentage.

Problem is, it’s based on the old, much-maligned Civic.

The current/new Civic is on a completely new platform.

I haven’t driven either of them. I had some interest in the ilx when i saw those incentives, and calculated a payment. I could make the payment with my gas savings alone, and keep miles off of the suv. If nyctola is possibly getting 13% off, my oregon (no tax) payment would be $163.

Will get a breakdown of sales price vs rebates and share with the group once I get it

My friends have a leased base model ILX and it’s a piece o’ sheet. Totally not worth the money, IMO.

Get the new Civic. I have the 2018 EX-T. I love it. MUCH better than the outdated ILX
