Acura Financial Trade In

Good evening!

I will apologize in advance for this question, but I have searched this forum and Google and have not been able to get this question answered. My wife’s 2020 Acura RDX looks to have some decent equity on it and looking to potentially take advantage of it. I know Acura Financial was requiring leases to be bought / traded in at an Acura / Honda dealership in 2021. My search thus far has not confirmed my suspicion that this is still in place right now. Has anyone with an Acura lease sold their vehicle to someone outside of Acura / Honda? Thank you!
