Dealers telling me they’re done haggling on price this month. They’ll wait for next month and won’t play into the volume incentive this month. This one said they’d raise price and actually did.
This looks EQS-level absurd.
Are there a trillion little Cadillac logos stamped all over a plastic dash?
OP here - enjoying all the back and forth, especially about the merits (or lack thereof) of this car ![]()
Quick update, blasted out offers to a bunch of dealers writhing 500 mile radius on loaners, best counter I’ve had back so far:
Loaner luxury 1: MSRP $129,990
Dealer discount: $17,500 (assuming this includes any CTA rebate from GM)
Mfg conquest: $250
Price before fees: $112,240
Price after all fees $113,547
24/12, 64% residual, MF: 0.00094
DAS: $2253 (first month, taxes and fees)
Monthly: $1482
not quite where I want it to be yet, but at least a starting point to work from!
How do you get the manufacturer conquest rebate? And aren’t you eligible for the GM Credit card $500 for new applicants?
I apologize I just went back and checked the $250 is the Cadillac Select Market Incremental CCR program, not conquest. I’ve no idea what that even is, I didn’t ask for it was provided as part of the dealer offer.
good catch re credit card, I didn’t ask for that
Yep, only $982 off per month to go.
Thanks for the update, I’m assuming your monthly $1482 is without sales tax?
Sorry I should have mentioned, includes 6.25% MA tax
What site did you use to get this info?
As always @Bumboola has the answers.
I did a 24/12k one pay lease on a brand new no miles 2025 IQ Luxury 1 for $36,100 including lease wear policy. Great deal. GM Employee, Costco exec, $15k off msrp half tax credit ( TX ) $132k MSRP. Did it 7/31. No Costco in Aug. but may come back in September. Waiting to see the 2026 IQ lease in September as they damaged the bumper while tinting windows after purchase and they said they would let me unwind this deal for that if I want. I will let you know, but I’m almost positive the September deals will be the best due to tax savings going away.
Let us know what happens with the 26 model or if they replace yours and with what kind of deal
So, I’m confused. Are the IQ’s via lease eligible for the $7500 federal tax credit?
I’m told because of the $80k+ price tag it doesn’t apply and non-import.
FAQ Q #278: If all of the above fails?
A: Ask to speak to the owner’s wife or mother.
So I’ve been playing the game. I told 6 dealerships last week to stop contacting me unless they had the deal I wanted in place or unless Sept brings better rebates.
What they were willing to do wasn’t getting me to sign off on an IQ this month.
I had 34 loaners saved. 2 have sold in the last 30 days.
These is just simply aren’t moving. The deals will get better this month
They almost have too.
GM can see they aren’t moving and that’s why they stopped production for a while. Costco might add it back into the program.
I bet we see that 15k off move to 20k pretty soon across several dealerships.
I took a 400 mile road trip this last weekend.
17 cyber trucks spotted.
One Escalade IQ.
6 hummer EVs
I know the IQ is newer. But clearly they aren’t selling.
They say it’s baked into the lease
Logically it makes sense for them to slap a bunch of rebates on these and send them down the road, but I’m not convinced that will happen. The Escalade is Cadillac’s- and arguably GM’s- halo vehicle and they have invested a lot of capital in positioning it as a luxury product. They may not be willing to risk cheapening the brand image in a way they were willing to do on the Hummer or Sierra EV.
