For some reason I feel like the black AMG that Ben Affleck has(had?) will hold its value better than most.
I mean he’s no Jon Voight, so his car is still going to depreciate a lot.

I’m sure him but plenty of wealthy folks who bought these last year around sticker (give or take) and got burned on these.
I don’t think Ben is worried about the depreciation. His money manager probably doesn’t even bother him with the details.

I can’t believe W.I. Simonson Mercedes-Benz in Santa Monica can’t even give Ben Affleck a freaking license plate frame that isn’t crooked. Bush League Amateurs down there.
It’s like hey we just sold a EQS AMG probably at MSRP + markup to some celeb that thinks they’re effing Batman driving around in a black-on-black car … there’s now way this car is going to be photographed by some paparazzi right? RIGHT??

At least he’s consistent, every one of his cars sports the black on black motif. Because he’s Batman. Even his Rivian R1S is black on black.

I actually don’t see the crookedness, but… There are many car dealerships in Santa Monica. Most of them are crap. I live ~2 miles away from the VW service station there, and I drive like 10+ miles and fork over $$$ for rideshare to go to another VW service station b/c I hate the Santa Monica one that much.
My point being that, I could easily believe WI Simonson being stupid.
At any rate, back to the topic… OP, hopefully you are in communication w/ a broker and are understanding why this just isn’t a good car to finance.
Tesla has been dropping prices on all of their models. The other EVs will follow. Wouldn’t buy it.
Gentleman… First off, I want to thank you for helping me un-fuck myself and my wallet.
Second, I called the dealer that I was going to purchase the vehicle from, and I asked him if leasing was an option. He said that it was. He sent me the attached breakdown. Please tell me what you think. This looks almost too good to be true. I should stress, this particular EQS 580 is fully loaded, top trim.
