A few brokers on here

I completely get why you can be jaded by many customers - I just feel that there’s room for win-win improvements for both brokers/customers via automation. It’s literally not my business, but I think there’s profit still avaioable on the table

Front end automation suggests one has capacity for more deals, but it’s hard for a one-person shop to close more then 40 or 50 deals a month. Many brokers can meet that quota just via repeat customers. The automation is needed on the backend, not the front-end.

Personally, I’d never answer my texts while I’m physically with a client. Other people can wait when I have someone in front of me.

Didn’t someone also recently call you at like 2:30AM?

Yea, that happens.

I give back the energy that people give me.

“whats your best bmw deal” =
super low effort reply from me, if any, if I’m really in the mood, “What are you trying to accomplish here? Finding a car, or a payment? If it’s a payment, tell me your budget and I’ll send options that fit”

“Hey Scott, my name is James, I’ve been shopping for an X5 and narrowed it down to X, Y, Z, or, if nothing else, just ordering one, I’m located in 12345, is this something you could help with?” = “Sure James! Happy to assist, let me take a look at what I have in inventory and send you my closest matches, or, if nothing, send me your build code and I’ll get you priced out on an order. How many miles per year did you need?”

“Got any loaners?” = “no”

Why not just have a rating system? It’s easier than going through years of reviews, and will take the average of all reviewers. One can’t just drown out bad reviews, and neither can one bad review tank their reputation.

Google reviews.

“can you match the deal posted here?”

Many rating systems have now proven to be demonstrably overrun with bots, competitors’ bashing, BS and unfair outliers with an ax to grind.

Not very helpful.

Yeah, but front end automation allows for funnel management, if you don’t have capacity for deals right now, you can build a captive customer audience waiting for whichever units you want to push out next. Also frees up more time to source additional vehicles to serve even more units and grow the business.

Definitely understand the need on the back end.

What’s the etiquette on texting time? I always figured that I can send a text even later at night, but obviously you have the right to respond when you’re back in business hours, whenever that might be.

This is a sincere question and not intended to start an argument… (we’ll see lol)

Why do they have to respond to you?

Because it’s basic customer service? I mean is the bar for brokers really that low? lol maybe I just got lucky with every broker I’ve contacted hasn’t been a jerk to me yet

I say “no,sorry”. It usual starts with “do you have any siennas discounted”. I don’t think more is needed. If they have a follow up question or I have something similar I’ll reply more. I prefer being straight to the point. Have to remember like 90% of people texting don’t buy anything. On any given day I get 50-100 different people texting me.

We’ve also dealt with every type of customer so we know when someone is genuinely interested. I have been suprised before though. People that have sent my fee after literally 3 texts back and forth. Those are people that likely have already done their homework before reaching out, which everyone on leasehackr should be doing anyway.

I wonder how many 4 letter words he’s going to yell at me if I send in the following inquiry.

Dear @IAC_Scott,

I’m looking to purchase or lease a new 911 GT3 RS at MSRP. Any color or option combination can work. Looking to close on this deal ASAP.

Thank You,

@li8625

90% of people are trash leads even family and friends. I’m surprised I haven’t been blacklisted by brokers cause my friends and family keep asking me to send them quotes and they keep deciding to go into different direction after I contact the brokers and stuff. Like dude, I told you it’s going to this price why are you telling that you can’t afford/dont want it after you tell me ffs!

I feel it can be people treating it like the normal process, going into a dealer, emailing or waiting for a quote, etc.

Should be way more quick and way less painful
