Hi I am new I need some help on Mercedes - Benz GLE 350 or 550e 36 mo 12k , What is the best price out there I am in california. thanks.

I’ve been looking for a GLC, but the GLE leases better. These are non-negotiated first time numbers from San Francisco MB:

GLE:
MSRP: $59,325
$1500 down
$740/month

GLC Coupe (what I wanted)
MSRP: $53,445
$5000 down
$850/month
MF: .00195
RV: 58%

He just sent the GLE numbers so I didn’t dig into them because our garage is small, but he was trying to get me into a GLE instead of the GLC. I think its just supply/demand on the GLC right now. I also didn’t try to negotiate the GLC #s just because they are so bonkers high. I think the prices down in southern california are more competitive.

For reference,last month I received the following quotes with zero negotiation at Valencia MB in SoCal.

  1. GLC 300 4matic 48k MSRP 597 per month.

  2. GLE 350 4matic 68k msrp 640 per month.

Both quotes include tax and zero out of pocket except drive off. This is for 36/12 lease.

I can vouch for those numbers- my lease offer was in the sub $500s for a $63k MSRP model (no down but payed your usual fees).

What is sub $500, low 500’s? Sounds like a great deal, did that include MSD’s? Now to find a dealer in NY tri state area willing to make a similar deal.

I am just outside NYC, Have a dealer and a salesman that can do MSDs as he had to learn all bout them for my recent E class 64k car 0 down mid 400s with 10 MSDs… Don’t want to violate any forum rules so shoot me a PM with your info etc…

Did you try to run numbers on a new one? Just wondering what the difference would be.

Rolling the $1000 CCR in has you at about 559 which satisfies the “1% rule”, takning into account that this is a demo. Generally the GLE does not lease particularly well so the procing looks pretty solid to me. Its hard to say if you can work any more money or not without knowing how long this GLE has been on the lot and/or how much they moved off their original number. All in all, if you like this vehicle, there are nothing about those numbers that would make me hesitate.
