3-row SUV Lease Advice

Hello,

Which 3-row SUV lease is the best this month? AWD is a must. Hybrid would be great.

I am considering VW Atlas SEL or RLine 4Motion, Lexus Tx 350 AWD. I don’t see the Toyota Grand Highlander lease as hackable; otherwise, that would be my first choice. Looking at the MFs vs APR, do most companies want you to buy vs lease this year?

All advice is welcome. This forum has helped me with the last 4 leases.

Thank you everyone in advance!

Infiniti QX60 would be the play

Thanks, @IAC_Nick . I thought about that but doesn’t have as much cargo room.

beggars can’t be choosers on LH lol. I agree that the QX is your best option for a ‘deal’. They’re quite nice now vs the old, archaic ones. Most of what you listed are better buys vs leases. I just closed on a TX but those seem to not be the easiest to hack depending on the region.

Well if you are tied to those 2, the Atlas will be the cheaper lease. Don’t get too caught up with hybrids, the gas savings are not anything significant (or worth the price jump IMO)

I agree with you on the hybrid part.

Not seeing any decent deals on Atlas SELs AWD in the Bay Area. What I have so far is comparable to Tx AWD. That’s why I listed both.

I think the TX is a better car.

VW hasn’t spent a dime on non-EV leases in ages.

Worth looking at CPO purchase prices if they’re depreciated enough

Separately, new Nissan pathfinder and ‘25 Palisades are 0% APR I think

I agree with you on the lease rates and residuals.

APRs are relatively good (0.9%-2%) on VWs, BMWs and Merc as well.

X7 and GLS are a whole different ballgame

Depending on what depreciation looks like you can start to see whether new or CPO is better for Atlas.

Yes, X7 and GLS are a different ballgame.

I prefer new vs CPOs for updated safety and tech features. 6 years later, they are all within 10-15k of each other.

I am still concerned about VW’s screen/electrical issues, so I might go with the Tx. I like how the Atlas drives/handles compared to other cars in that category.

Where did you get the TX from? DM? I am collecting quotes so far on TX and Atlas in CA.

Hi

Stop collecting quotes.

Waste of time

Unless this is your hobby. :winking_face_with_tongue:

Send your offer to as many dealers as you can based on info on LH from Marketplace and signed deals.

Did you look at or just going off specs online? It’s always worth taking a look in person. None of these vehicles have much cargo space when the 3rd row is in use.

Yep, if he really need cargo space with 3rd row usage, he needs to get full size suv or minivan.

I usually do that, but there’s no reference for those cars in LH so far, not even from brokers. If you’ve seen any, please let me know.

I’ve used Atlas, and I don’t always use the third row. However, when I do, the cargo space with the third row down is the best in its class. My neighbor has a TX, and the interior and exterior dimensions are really close.

What they have is sufficient for me.
