dealers about to have the best Q1 end of quarter party ever
I helped a car free friend buy a new computer monitor last week and he thanked me by sending these via USPS.
Both very humorous and useful.
can i share that image though? i screenshot it, just in case.
Still have 4 months left on my current lease, wasn’t really looking to ground it this early…
But if this tax causes prices to jump 25% and stays there all summer, it’ll cost me a lot more than 4 current lease payments over the next 3 years…
Curious to see if this actually sticks, or if it will be pulled back in a handful of days.
This will stick and then get compounded by the “reciprocal” tariffs next week.
It’s not going to stick, will be walked back to only reciprocal ones like basically all of the other ones
But the damage will already be done. No business wants uncertainties.
Imagine having the balls to think any foreigner will buy any of your exports after you declared an economic war against them. The difference here is Americans will still buy imports, albeit fewer, but foreigners won’t buy anything American.
Meh we’ll see how it works long term. Canada is massively dependent on the US. Not in favor of the tariffs at all tho
I’ll admit it made me laugh yesterday, when I saw a billboard driving that said, “tariffs mean higher grocery prices,” and it was paid for by Canada and said as much in the corner. They’re sweating…
The more important thing, what is the end game here? What’s the objective? No one knows.
This is going into politics a little bit. But at this point, who knows how strongwilled the Canadians are? There’s numerous examples in history where people not only didn’t just boycott but they died for their sovereignty and way of life.
You have way too much hope on the latter. aren’t gonna do sht.
I sincerely hope beyond hope you’re right bro. Cause my portfolio going to be cooked otherwise
If I had to throw out a theory, it’s much easier to not give a shit about anything in the early stages of your second term and attempt to blame everything on your predecessor.
Let me ask the important question - which car/truck should we flip?
