2025 Prologue Elite - Dealer withholding incentives?

, ,

Doing a deal in Minneapolis MN. Current incentives available to me that I qualify for seem to be

  • EV Federal Tax Credit - 7500
  • Conquest - 3300
  • 2025 Prologue Dealer/Lease/Finance Offer - 5000
  • Captive Lease/Finance Offer V2 - 4500

This is ~20,300 in incentives. However, the dealer is only quoting me for 15,300 in incentives, seemingly excluding the 2025 dealer/lease/finance offer cash. I don’t have a full breakdown from them of the incentives atm, but that’s the configuration that seems to match the cost on my lease calculator sheet.

Is there a particular reason they may do this, or should I just press them for the 20,300 in incentives/rebate since I know it exists? Ratefindr suggests they’re compatible, though I don’t know how foolproof its data is.

Car’s MSRP is 59805, discounted to 51695, doc fee of 350, markup of 499 for tint. 0.00079 money factor

Dealer cash is a direct to dealer incentive that would be rolled into their discount rather than be an itemized incentive.

In addition, dealer cash is to be used at the dealers discretion so they may give it all, some, or none at all.

They use it on every deal. Not like they’re deciding if they want to claim it or not. One just needs to set their target deal appropriately to account for it.

So, is it likely already factored in considering the 13% or so off MSRP? I’ve seen other places and dealers list it as an incentive after their discounts so I’m not sure.

For example, this guy has a lower discount but that amount in incentives from the same or similar dealer: Need input:36m/10K 2025 Honda Prologue Touring AWD $320/month $0 DAS included TTL in MN

Yes, most likely. Which is one of the many, many reasons asking a dealer for a quote is a gigantic waste of time and you’re far better off establishing a target deal and then making them offers.
