2025 hummer EV 2X

I found a 2025 2X with 8 miles for 87,239$

I emailed them and told them that if they could price the residual value on a 24 month lease at $77000 that I would be willing to lease it for $2000 down and $350 a month.

What do you think?

I’m not desperate for a car, I’m only on this website to punish dealers if they are desperate

Sounds like a great well researched offer! I wonder how they haven’t emailed you e docs yet!
/sarcasm

all fun jokes above — dealers don’t set the residual. The manufacturer does. read through the forum & learn how to structure a deal so that when you send offers, dealers actually take them seriously!

Buying hard to move inventory isn’t really punishing dealers. You doing them a favor.

You use these words but I don’t think you understand what they mean

Anyway if you’re here to punish people why not offer $0 DAS and $150 a month?

You might even get a movie named after you

Get a broker and call it a day.

What would you call the movie?

He’s in Washington which only has a local Mercedes and BMW broker.

I tried a local broker. Cross referenced about 10 “deals” vs. what I had already negotiated at local dealers (I have been looking a while). Literally not one of the deals was any better than what I had been quoted and quite a few were worse. I always thought these guys could really bring something substantial, does not appear to be the case.

I also agree with you that I probably have no idea what I’m talking about and am just using terms that I read here.

Yes.

I’m brand new.

I know nothing.

So help me win.

My win is your win.

A broker from here or a random one off Google?

Gotta start here, no one can do the initial research for you.

Here are some good resources to help you get started:

These articles and more can be found in Leasing 101:

I really appreciate it.

I can see that I have some homework.

I’m not sure what kind of drugs these people are on.

$6540 due at signing ? For 8000 miles lol

I feel like $6540 one pay for 15,000 miles is fair.

Obviously; I told them that there isn’t any room for negotiation as I’m looking at them as I’m doing them a favor taking this off their lot and they seem to see me as a lottery ticket lol

Dumb and Dumber?

How are you calculating these figures? In what world would a $87k vehicle be $350 a month?
Dealers don’t calculate residuals and definitely cannot change them.
MSRP
Discount on vehicle before any rebates or incentives
Rebates
Post Incentives if any
Money Factor
How long has the car been sitting?

Many deals posted here are not replicable. Sounds like you need a broker.

Well; as you know.

I’m brand new.

I have no idea what I’m talking about.

I’m here for guidance and handholding lol.

I see the price of the car as $80,989

The residual after 24 months as $76,486

That’s a difference of $4,503

Their offer is $16,774.32+$6,540=$23,314.32

$350*24=$8,400.00.

I don’t understand anything you wrote. I asked you specific questions above.

Build your deal and send it to them. You don’t ask them for quote.
