2025 Hummer EV 2X SUV loaner (one-pay) $385/month effective

,

MSRP: $101,xxx
Selling Price: $81,xxx
Rebates: $3000 loaner + $2000 supplier
MF: 0.00303
RV: 75.47

One-Pay $13,900 for 36 months. Effective: $385 per month. Calculator wasn’t matching the actual deal because of negative depreciation. I believe they moved some of the govt. fees to the cap cost.

This was in May. So, missed out on the costco rebate. Dealership only had one in stock and aren’t willing to do one again at this price even if they had one. Asked for a friend. I believe they agreed to this deal to fulfill some of their volume rebates.

My best attempt at the calculator : Calc

Congrats on a unicorn!! No acquisition fee? Are they running a promotion?

Suppliers pricing

I believe there’s no acquisition fee on any GM financial leases these days. Not sure if it’s permanent or temporary.

Thanks! So only customers with supplier code gets no acquisition fee?

Im pretty sure only for suppliers but will wait for others to confirm. I highly doubt that they need to waive acq for all.

Man, that’s insane! Great work! What part of Texas? In Houston, I’ve been getting dealers still living in early 2024 acting like 500-600/month on a 36/12k 2X with $0 DAS is “crazy talk”. I need some guidance, if you’re willing to teach me your ways lol.

I’d pay that right now in a hearbeat

There’s nothing much to it other than negotiating the dealer discount. At no point did I talk or even entertain the discussion about the final payment amount. The negotiation was always about the dealer discount at the buy rate MF. I didn’t have much luck in Houston or any metro areas either. Reach out to dealerships in small towns where EVs are generally hard to move. Luck also has a big role to play.

Sounds like a logical move, appreciate it. I’ve talked to two dealers in Houston, they’ve tried getting it out of me but I also refuse to talk monthly, but they’re trying to precondition me with “For a $100k vehicle you should expect to be in the high $700s to $1k”.

Great deal. I would drive that beast for that monthly, and it is the suv (my favorite). Enjoy!

99% guaranteed you’ll get nowhere with this approach.

And FYI a monthly lease will have a higher payment than the effective payment on this one-pay (because the MF is higher), even if you replicate the discount.

Know what your target is, make offers and move on when they say no or counter with BS (most will)

Yea I meant I would take that one pay deal.

You’re saying I should give the dealer a target monthly? Everything I’ve seen says not to. Maybe I misunderstood

Which small towns in Texas you suggest? I checked with couple and they dont have much of EV inventories with them.

Any place other than metro areas is fair game. Try dealers around Lubbock, Abilene, El Paso, Rockwall, San Angelo, Texarkana. Cast a wider net. There’s probably no TX dealer I haven’t talked to. You might have better luck as inventory gets older

You gotta propose a deal to the dealer and lead the conversation instead of asking the dealer for a price or telling them your monthly target.

That starts with discount off MSRP, base MF, and knowing the residual and dealer fees/tax and registration, etc.
