2025 Honda Accord Hybrid - Financing and Deal for kiddo

Location: California (preference in SoCal)

ASK: 2025 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring sedan FINANCE option

Hello LH friends!

I am looking to finance a 2025 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring sedan (MSRP approx. $40 to $45K), but struggling to locate a broker on LH. Perhaps this is a unicorn request and Honda brokers only focus on leasing.

I plan to make a down payment for my kiddo about $10K and he also plans to put down $10K. Ball park, we plan to put down 50% and finance the rest so he can build his credit, and also keep the monthly relatively low. Two questions:

  1. Any recommendations on a Honda broker that can help with financing (not leasing)?

  2. The main goal is keep monthly low while also building his credit and our out of pocket budget is about $20K. I’ve tried to talk him into leasing, but been unsuccessful.

Always appreciate this community! thanks in advance.

All brokers can facilitate purchases as well as leases. Obv this being a lease based forum, the vast majority of transactions are leases.

Head over to the LH Marketplace and filter by California & Honda, a number of brokers will populate in the results.

Every broker than can help with a lease can also help with a finance deal.

Financing is the best strategy for an Accord.

Appreciate the response. I did try and hit a few folks on market place but never got a response. Will keep knocking on doors.

Appreciate the counsel. Any thoughts on the $20k down and financing the rest to build the kids credit?

Honda accord 2025 deal check

Hello LH friends - See attached for quote . I’ve been shopping around with several Honda dealers for a specific make, model, and color (2025, Honda accord touring, urban grey/blk interior).

Most dealers aren’t willing to below $39K OTD for these specs. I plan to put down $20K and finance the rest.

What red flags do you see with this quote below? thank you again! :folded_hands:

Well you are giving 795 back for aftermarkets already to reduce your discount off MSRP…which you don’t show.

Having a quote at all is a red flag because it means you asked them how much they want you to pay instead of making them an offer.

Hard to tell as it doesn’t look like you posted MSRP. Also consider not limiting yourself to a single trim (let alone model).

I’d go to the Accord forums and Facebook groups and see what people are paying for these cars. I wager a majority of Accord owners financed and didn’t lease.

Shoot for no add-ons as well. If the dealer says it’s mandatory go to another. You’d be surprised how optional those really are if it’s a deal breaker.

I love supporting the brokers on this site, but I don’t know if you need a broker here–just shop around and get a solid deal.

As for your plans it sounds solid. What kind of rates are there for the car–any OEM promotional rates? He won’t be upside down and it’s a good way to build credit.

Just call @Jeff_BeachCitiesAuto and let him make it easy to buy a Honda.

That sale price of $36,320 is for an Accord Touring??

for the record, I didn’t ask for a quote. I started at $35K OTD and 7 dealers laughed at me for this make, model, color 2025.

Most dealers list the price of the car at $40,905 - $41500

Correct, the honda touring 2025 in urban grey

The MSRP listed on multiple Honda dealers sites are in the $40K to $51K range before taxes and fees. I started by asking multiple dealers for $35K OTD and they laughed so now I’m at $38K OTD.

thanks for recommendation, I did drop Jeff a DM.

I called two brokers and both said the best they could get on this specific make, model, trim is $2-3K off so not worth it. I sent beach guy Jeff DM to see as well.

I mean without you posting the MSRP of the specific vehicle you posted the quote for makes it impossible for folks here to give you feedback on the discount.

The dealer said he needs to include aftermarkets line item since the sale price is already far below the MSRP of $40, 905. I know this is a BS gimmick which is why I haven’t signed the deal. All dealers seem to do this voodoo magic.
