If they give you the largest net discount who cares.
::gasp:: How is that even possible?
eek, my bad, donāt gasp for breath! I meant to type 41K ; so the range to clarify has been between 40 to 41K OTD and after bunch of haggling, finally getting to $38.7K OTD
Absolutely do thisā¦
OTD is typically used more in the CarEdge forum and is a different way of going about leasing where you may not end up in the same place. Is there a reason you keep using that phrase?
If Jeff (who usually gives really good deals) canāt meet the discount you want, then you might have to look into a Loaner to get that percentage.
He is financing.
my man right here, gets it
Go hawks!
I hit up Jeff, but he says he doesnt have that specific color. My kid is bent on it, so no choice.
Good catch! Guess I should have read the first post more closely. The user name NewB_lessor really checks out.
And yet here we are discussing one
What was this number based on?
I was bent on whatever I was given as a kidā¦and surely was never given 10K! ![]()
Reddit, Honda forums, nation wide price searches on Cars.com and CarGuru.com to see what other folks paid OTD for the same model, trim, and year.
So useless unless they live in the same zip code with the same tax structure and the same incentive qualifications.
When you reference other deals, the only useful data point is the pre-incentive discount. Everything else needs to be adjusted to your personal situation to be a valid number.
If youāre throwing out OTD prices you saw elsewhere based on someone that had lower taxes, cheaper registration, and more incentives, of course youāre going to get laughed out the door by dealers.
