2025 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack, 24/10k $175/mo $175 DAS

, ,

I don’t disagree. My reason for posting is to try and demonstrate that while there are likely delusional dealers, the bank support for leasing these is not only non-existent, the RV/MF combo is a clear statement that the bank doesn’t want another single 2024 Charger Daytona on lease return in 2027. That is, unless someone is willing to pay a mint to lease one.

Yeah it’s still working. Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, and Alfa still doing TDM.

I just signed up @theduke for his future ride, a Hellcat Durango. (this is sarcasm, theduke is too cool for this car)

It’s 100% RV and MF, these basically can’t be leased. A score would be $500 a month. Dealers who didn’t deal are just bag holding. Even if the bag holders got incredibly aggressive (they prob still won’t), it’s still a crap lease. Throw in the towel, it’s dead.

I had a $40k discount earlier this month. It was around $700-$800 a month iirc. I posted the deal sheet somewhere, maybe this thread, I don’t remember and don’t really care. You’re running a fool’s errand, I’m telling you, just give it up.

They obviously want to steer the sales teams to do loans or cash buys. There is no more requisite to lease for everyone to get the $7,500 rebate.

Can we agree that the Charger Daytona Scat Packs are nukes? Stellantis is telling dealers “you’re basically on your own, if you can find a sucker to buy it, we’ll help somewhat, otherwise F off.”

ETA: there might be a small handful of models in the $85k price range that are as F’d as this one, but very few. If someone was willing to pay $50k, they should be putting a poster in that buyers honor in their showroom. These will be brand new low $40’s in months with what’s left. And support will be completely gone by then.

FWIW, I’m still shocked how hard I failed. Dodge dealers are apparently some of the dumbest out there. I had the perfect target, really was spot on going after it, it was just the worst approach I ever took. I had one under $200, but I was just straight unicorn hunting.

Dodge living rent free in your head … you should charge them $99/month at least.

Go enjoy your Porsche lol.

 I really hadn’t thought about it too much for the last week. When I was hunting I was still driving the old Porsche. Once I started driving the new one, I came back to reality. Saw someone still trying to do this, was trying to provide some neighborly advice and save him some time.

Not too mention the new 4 door models are now being shipped. What will they do with those now ?

I didn’t know they were making these. Imagine the demand for a 4 door Charger is going to be atrocious. 4 Door Charger unicorn alert set in my calendar for December of 2026.

Thanks for the lead.
Closed the deal on the 30th at $380/m 24x7500 only because i opted for the glass roof and the better audio….Guess what. that $313/m without this BS audio would have been just fine. I wasn’t expecting such bad performance from speakers at such a high price tag.

I knew from past experience that unicorns are that, 10 ppl in the country get them, but the other 10k try to repeat. Stats are not good.

Looking at the October numbers, I’m happy I jumped on it.

In all honesty, when you look at total outlay over 24 month and worry about 1-2k difference of total lease cost, it becomes an easier decision than looking at monthly payments.

Inflation alone is going to eat that difference in 2 years.

I was more than pleased with the sales experience at the Jeep dealer where I got my Wee Organs.

I’ve used a different dealer for a warranty matter, and they were great as well.

The place where I drove the Charger EV, though… yeesh. Right down there with all of the Honda and most of the Toyota dealers I’ve encountered.

No mid October update?

I am tracking wagoneers and no, it’s still bad.

I am not too impressed with the audio either. Going to try some different sources and see if that helps. Maybe the speakers need to be broken in too.

I haven’t seen MF or RV values change mid-month in the past few years. Usually, they stick to monthly updates. I may be wrong

CDJR has recently been doing that from time to time.

With audio, I set everything level, downloaded Wavelet app, and setup an EQ there at the source. This way you can tune the response better. Bass is great, but the clarity sucks. Muddy hollow echo sound. May as well replace front speakers and put stock back in at lease end, or gift to the next owner.

Safe to say these are incredibly dead.
