Not going to argue because I agree with you, but they need to do something to alleviate the losses.

My junk email is getting flooded with Dodge emails daily. This is my favorite, quick I’ll take it before it goes up again!!!

I’m impressed this dealer in FL is still taking the time to quote you.

For CDJR, it’s one more step they can take to really solidify the absolutely terrible dealership experience they provide.

It’s a CRM system sending automated emails. I keep hitting unsubscribe to all of them and keep getting them too.

These are absolutely dead. I found one with a huge discount just curious to get the quote last week, it was even worse than I thought it would be and it’s attached above.

I’m referring to the ELead sheets. No way a CRM is sending out structured quotes without some human involved.

It just says the price has increased and it has an increased price showing the difference. This would be extremely simple for a CRM tool to do. It’s not a detailed quote.

I haven’t received many human initiated emails recently, just the cookie cutter stuff.

Gotcha. The deal sheet was a quote I was looking for. Was curious where a discount like that netted out. Only one I got this month.

All CDJR products have a scary Halloween MF.

This may only work for PA customers who do not pay taxes on rebates and are willing to take a risk of owning this piece of metal doing the lease to buy transactions.

I closed this on 9/27. Since I’ve had it the airbag sensor on the dash is on, AC randomly cut off once but hasn’t happened since, key fobs are working. I use my Tesla L2 charger with an adaptor and the dodge app throws a “charging error” when it refreshes but the car is charging.

It has an EPA 303 miles rated but when I charged to 100% this week, I was only rated for 267. I’ve been using it exclusively in Sport mode with all the EV sounds on :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Anyone had any luck generating TDM for Dodge recently? My code expired 10/7, and want to be ready with another one.

I made a code for @212hackr but he only wants Dodge :crying_cat:

You gotta tag @212hackr with this and tell us the showroom you got the quote from so we can point and laugh.

lol, i am still trying to be on good terms with them for when they inevitably have to get rid of the car. i actually also disagree with @212hackr about new MFs and RVs, imo it’s (still) pure delusion from the dealers on sale price that’s killing leases on them, incentives are not horrible. this gm thinks people would take his brick over an M3/M4, a Corvette, or Taycan Turbo S lol (obviously not apples to apples but still)

For a 24x7500 term, the residual dropped from 64% last month to 47% this month. Effective APR jumped from 0.5% for that same term to almost 13% this month. Even the most aggressive dealer can’t lease one of these to anyone without being extremely creative unless the lessor has more cents than knowledge . For SFS to fund, the BEST deal you can get on a 24x5 right now is around $500 per month with $2100 down (give or take due to taxes). That deal leaves $500 depreciation which SFS requires to fund. To get to that deal the dealer would have to discount 25% off MSRP before any incentives. It would take a dealer cutting a lessor back a check for around $9k to get close to 200 per month on those terms. I’m sure some dealers are delusional, but the bank has made it very clear they are not interested in leasing this, or any other Dodge models I’ve looked at, at this time.

imo compared to selling wholesale at auction at a large xx% loss, the check+large mfr incentives don’t start to sound too bad, this is a 2024 MY after all and it’s almost 2026

The 2024 Model Year Dodge Charger wasn’t a full model year. They started rolling out Model Year 2024 in like March 2024 (which is late by all normal measure). 5 Months later they started Model Year 2025 in like August 2024.

So yes, the Model year 2024 units are older than 2025. But it’s not like a huge calendar year gap.

Those triple nickel fully optioned 2024 model year scat packs were supposed to be the ones to show off the car and the features though. Dealers who continue to bag hold those are idiots since the marketing budget actually chips in to help move these silly over-optioned showroom trophy cars that get forced into the allocation. Eventually that marketing support goes away.
