No offense LAKings, but it’s not a good experience on LH to have a user show up, talk about wanting to lease a non-EV… then spend a lot of replies trying to defend wanting to do that decision. It’s got to be the most offputting experience to literally participate on a forum talking about leasing, then get steered to CPO or buying to save a few bucks.
The entire reason leasing exists is not to pander to LH bargain hunters. The lease provides a way for a person to stay in the freshest rides, with full manufacturer warranty and usually pay a stiff premium to do do so. Leasing isn’t for everyone, but it’s definitely right up the alley of what pabramovich is looking for. He’s eyes wide open.
Taken to an extreme, people aren’t expecting LH users to combat leasing … being put on the defensive to explain a desire to lease on a leasing forum kinda sucks. It leads to some feelings of eggplant-ness. You’re not there, but it’s a short ride to that destination.
Could he do better than lease a BMW 540i, perhaps. But there isn’t much going on in SoCal going with @BMW_Dave or @ZZAutoDeals would save a lot of time. someone diligently hunting a deal might beat their pricing a bit with some sweat equity.
