4Runners are going up in price. Production majorly cut. All my dealers raised pricing on me $500. I still am under invoice but not as much as last month…
Selling more then ever as everyone scrambles to buy the last of the bullet proof 24s

I was strongly considering going this way for a new SUV for my kid, but with the new ones still being built in Japan, idk. Also, $5k off 1958s is great. I think it might get even sweeter by fall.
Maybe a LC for him? Lol.
I think that’s dealer by dealer and region by region. Many in California and the west now have some discounts and far fewer have ADM, but who knows what that motivation might be attributed to?
Six months ago, you couldn’t get a TRDP at sticker let alone without ridiculous ADM.
Maybe your dealers figured out that the 2025 won’t even come close to the 5G rigs.
lol so the “$8k” one off wasn’t even real
Pricing is definitely trending downward but it will take time for anything as crazy as 8k with no gimmicks
It is dealer to dealer and I got many connections there from solid ones. But also a lot of terrible ones that tried to screw over my customers as well with bs last minute fees. there’s plenty of games on that page. And they call required packages not markups…
I know first hand as it’s run by dealers that kicked me off it when it first started bc I blew away all their pricing.
They literally instituted a no broker policy bc of me…
Yep, I kind of suspected that since 10% off on even unpopular models are hard to achieve let alone a new car like the LC.
@Jrouleau426 just signed up for your FB group too, 1958 would not be my first choice but at $5k off it could be a good lease deal. Do you know if the RV is higher than the mid-trim LC? If so, I might just lease a second LC this month, really liking the first one so far…
Yeah, the 4Runner prices along with others are all over the place now in California and other states as well. Glad we were able to get the two we did when we did but many of the same dealers that wouldn’t budge 3 months ago on a TRD Pro and other models are now calling and emailing with “Are you still looking?” emails with much lower asks. Not sure how the redesigned 4R factors into this but I am seeing many more 2024s on the road with temp tags than I see 2025s with temps (far fewer available?) There are TRD Pros unsold on lots now and many of the last of the incoming 2024s do not show as sold on many web pages.
I’ve honestly never leased a LC yet so not sure on residuals. Everyone so far has bought them I can run a quote though when you’re ready
I’m really on the fence. I wouldn’t want the archaic 4Runner, other than the resale should still remain stupidly strong. I like the looks of the '25 Pro but I’m not paying more than MSRP and its hard telling when they will even hit the lots. Last I heard they are delayed yet again.
Same boat i think im going to snag a 4runner offroad TRD
Depends on what time frame. Maybe in 5 years? But not while lease returns are still coming back on market.
@Jrouleau426 killing it with the discounts.
I thought I read $5k off on the 1958s from him last week?
In any case, no body beats Jim’s pricing and service.
Anyone know if the 2025’s will still include 1958’s? Heard a rumor they might remove that as an option but don’t know how valid that is
Doesn’t really matter. There will be plenty of 1958s left over all over the country.
Some of my dealers have been adding katzkin heated leather seats to them and they have been selling much easier at msrp that way. Prob better than taking a loss on them as no one really wants a 60k suv with cloth seats.
Toyota messed up the pricing on the Land Cruiser by a long shot. They are around $15k overpriced. The top trim should have been at around $60k. Too many compromises with the new platform. The tow hitch cover by itself is a marvel of afterthought.
I wouldn’t say 15k. Their production costs are prob higher than that. Maybe 5k. I’m having no issues selling them currently with 3k off as most dealers are still at msrp. I’d love to be at 5k off but that’s under invoice and just isn’t necessary yet. The biggest complaint I’m seeing is just lack of softex in the 1958. They should have an option for that.
Seems like a pattern with Toyota. Tacoma and Tundra are overpriced by about the same amount.
The tricky part with pricing on this car is that it’s going to be sandwiched between the new 4Runner and the GX550… So their hands were kind of tied here.
I doubt the 1958 edition is long for this world once the TRD versions of the new 4Runner start to ship…
