2024 Toyota Land Cruiser

Tacomas started out selling poorly but they have been flying lately, of course I have huge discounts on them, but there’s still plenty of dealers selling at msrp. I expect 25 tundras to do well since it won’t have the recall looming over them. I don’t think tundra is overpriced at all, compared to every other truck brand, theyre right inline.

They didn’t hammer in the tag line “new normal” for nothing. Pricing is never going back down… I do expect more incentives from manufacturers in 25 as they compete harder for customers with this higher pricing. So maybe leasing will get better. Not to mention whoever is elected will likely push for some rate cuts to gain favor, but I don’t think those cuts will last long as it will lead to more inflation.

Agreed. I was shopping the Land Cruiser at one point for the wife, and I was shocked that many had cloth seats.

I think they were going for the retro look but something’s are better to change…it’s not like they have manual windows

Ha! I think if Toyota fancies it up a bit the LC has some potential IMO. They didn’t do a horrible job overall.

@Jrouleau426 I’m in the market for a stripper LC trim any chance you have one in your network? I’m CA based but open to shipping/travel

The 2024 Nissan Armada Platinum brand new is around $60K in Florida and it has a reliable v8 compared to Toyota’s new engine. I haven’t seen a Landcruiser yet in South FL but $60K for cloth seats. Clothes seats shouldn’t be in a vehicle its 2024. With the price of vehicles.

Currently best I can do out west is 2k off with my fee included.

Feel free to text me I have some

That’s Nissan is gonna be worth 30k in 3 years. Upfront cost is just one factor when purchasing. I don’t know the future value of LC but pretty sure it will beat a Nissan regardless of the model

I assume the person who’s getting a Land Cruiser is not going to be trading it in anytime soon or care about new tech and features. Outside of America aka Middle East, it’s Patrol/Armada vs Landcruiser but now that they both have new engines I can’t say who’s more reliable.

The new Patrol/Armada looks promising with full three rows, 8500lbs tow rating, rear locking differential, integrated trailer controller, and non-premium gas requirement.

Nissan’s transmission is a nightmare. V8 or not. Huge pass. Toyota is superior.

I’m in the minority here, but I actually prefer the 1958 trim. I like the cloth seats and the more barebones build. I’m also heavily bias because of the circular headlights, which I love.

The one thing that hung me up though was the lack of power seats up front. It’s not a big deal at all in reality, but the idea of manually adjusting the front seats in a nearly 60k land cruiser just makes me scratch my head

I had a $65k Defender with manual seats. It’s not so bad :grimacing:

Wrong! The Nissan v8 5.6 is the most reliable engine out there, outside of America it is LandCruiser vs Patrol/Armada, especially in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Dubai, and Australia

Not in my personal experience, or many others as evidenced by the data in forums.

Maybe my family members are lucky I drove multiple Armadas and Sequoias over the years and have reached over 100K miles and never had any problems. If I had to keep two vehicles forever it would be the
Armada V8
2022 Sequoia Platinum V8

There’s just no way for a company to make products with longevity after a beancounter like Ghosn took over. And company culture / DNA doesn’t die out or change that fast even after they’re gone.
