Ended up buying this in Wisconsin which I rarely find dealers willing to do any deep discounts in the mid-west. Just happened to come across this Flash that was sitting for 150+ days at a local dealer and they were very motivated to move it. I was looking for a low MSRP unit and this only had a spray on factory bed liner which was a plus.

Had to squeeze it into the garage for ceramic coating before it started snowing outside. Frunk space is definitely impressive.

Just confirming, you lease this under a business?

Not under a business, I live in Wisconsin and my tax rate is 7.9%.

Where? I live in WI and all tax is 5.5. I’ve been trying to find anything about local cities maybe having something else but can’t find anything.

Nevermind, found it. I see as of 1/24 Milwaukee county and city have an increase totaling 2.9%. so that would explain it. Ick

Great looking truck! Wish I had a proper frunk in the Ioniq.

Do you have to currently own/lease a Ford product in order to qualify for “50610-$3500 - EV RCL Cash” and " * 60396 - RCL “Factors” - Lower MF"?

Is the $7500 the federal tax credit for EVs? Thanks.

Nice E92!

No, this is a base lease offer currently

50610 - $3500 EV RCL Cash - Ford Red Carpet Lease cash. Not sure if that requires tier 1 credit.

60396 - RCL “Factors” Lower MF - this incentive gets you the 0.88% APR (0.00036667 money factor)

Also, no $7500 federal credit on leases.

Thank you both!

This has been my nightmare for the last 2 weeks of dealing with electrical errors that render my Lightning useless…hoping that the 3rd dealership sorts this out :crossed_fingers:

Curious what kind of errors you are getting? 12V stuff or HV? Did it work out better towing it forward or backwards  Was towing covered?

It’s giving me a high voltage error & power train malfunction. As soon as that happens I get a “Stop Safely now” warning in the gauge cluster and the truck limits speed to 55mph. As soon as it’s put into park it refuses to drive at all.

First 2 dealers have repeatedly performed the high voltage battery testing and keep getting passing results for all the battery modules. They checked the 12v battery with no issues. Someone on another forum had this issue with a heater module failing so they tried stressing the heater but got no errors.

All 3 tows were Ford roadside assistance so I haven’t paid for them. Towing it on forwards seems to be easier for them to hookup the cables

We’ll see if lucky dealer #3 actually fixes something. If not I might need that lawyer info…

My 2024 Flash also threw the “Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power” error in mid February. The dealer traced it to the heater module and replaced it. I have had it back for two weeks now after the repairs and I’m hoping that there aren’t any major issues in the future :crossed_fingers:

4th dealership, where I purchased the Lightning, ended up pulling the truck bed off. One single wire has damage and the dealership has deemed it “rodent damage”. they found a tree nut near the damage so they claim a squirrel chewed the wire and that is not covered under warranty.

Dealership’s response, “We did end up reaching out to Ford and they had stated since the damage had come from an outside source that they would not be able to warranty this issue nor participate in any goodwill repairs.”

I asked if the dealership would help to make this right since the Lightning sat on their lot for 150+ days and I had the truck stored in my garage for ~30 days / 890 miles where rodent damage is highly unlikely. Dealer response continues to be that my insurance needs to cover this and they won’t give me any contact info for Ford’s warranty department to discuss it further.

It’s a $5k-$7k repair as dealer states they must replace the entire HV wire harness ($1687) which requires removing the entire truck cab. This seems absolutely insane to me because the wire that’s damaged is ~3 ft segment that has plug connections on both ends, but Ford only offers the entire HV wire harness as a service part. Dealership refuses to argue with Ford about the service part issue and if they deviate they claim it could void my warranty.

Worst customer service ever from Ford…

It is outrageous to think they want you to pay for this.
