as someone who has seen their fair share of rodent damage, it almost always happens when a vehicle has been sitting for an extremely long time. I would say this is a legal matter at this point
I talked to lemon law lawyer, but WI requires 4 failed repair attempts so they don’t want to take my case now that the 4th issue is being categorized as non-warranty by the dealership, how convenient. 
I’m talking directly to the dealership GM to try to get them to make things right but they are dragging things out.
Additional fun fact I realized today is that the dealership backs right up to a large park where the car was located for 5 months.
